"How long has this been going on for?" Dan said after he pulled Beau and I into his office. "I asked you both a question!"

"A few months." I replied.

"You know how I feel about my players dating the staff." Dan added.

"Coach we really didn't mean it to happen." Beau answered.

"Crosby, I took a risk hiring you because you are Sid's sister. And your so young. Look I'm not prepared to keep the both of you on if your going to be in a relationship." He looked at us and Beau took my hand.

"We aren't going to end it Coach." Beau replied.

"Beau what are you doing?" I whispered. "Please, Beau deserves to be here. Don't take it out on Beau. " I said to Dan.

"I'm sorry Crosby." I looked down at my lap to hide the fact that I was crying. I got up and walked out with Beau following me. He pulled me into a hug and he stroked my hair.

"I need a job Beau. Please don't leave me." He caressed my cheek and kissed me as Dan walked out of his office.

"I'm not going to leave you because you lost your job."

"I best go and clean out my office then." He helped me clean out all of my stuff before I decided to head home, well Beau's place. When we got there I ran straight to Beau's room and laid on his bed. I just stared at the ceiling and cried. Beau walked in and laid next to me.

"How about we look for a job in the lower league?" He turned to face me and decided it would be funny if he laid on top of me. "Now, shall I get the laptop?" I laughed at him and he kissed me. He went to get the laptop he passed it to me. I signed into my emails and saw that the owner of the Toronto Maple Leafs had contacted me asking if I wanted a job there.

"Beau."

"Yeah?"

"I've already had an offer. Off Toronto."

"That's 5 hours away." He was right. "When would you start?"

"The game that you guys play them. However I would need to go down soon to get settled in." He sighed and hugged me. "It's too far." He took the laptop off, typed something and handed it back to me. He had accepted it for me. "Beau."

"You said that you loved the job babe." He hugged me and I cried into his shoulder. "Shush. I'll see you loads. I'll visit when you have time off and I'll obviously see you for the games. Just promise me that you won't finish me."

"I promise." I held up my hand to show my ring and he smiled. "I have to go tomorrow to meet everyone."

"I'm coming with you." We packed our stuff and just sat down. "This sucks."

In the morning we both woke up and got ready before packing up Beau's car and drove off to Toronto. When we arrived at the arena, Randy Carlyle was there waiting.

"Morning Danielle. And Beau Bennett?"

"Yeah sorry sir. He's my boyfriend and he wanted to see what it was like."

"Anytime Beau. So does Dan know your here? Also, you can call me Randy." He asked making me shake my head.

"He may have fired me as I was dating Beau."

"I think that's quite romantic." Randy said making us both laugh. After he showed us around it was my choice on whether I would take the job. "So Beau. Would you approve?"

"I just wish it wasn't so far away."

"Well what we could do is put Danielle in her own place but next to one of the guys' wives so she would have someone." I looked at Beau and he nodded.

"I'll take it." Randy shook mine and Beau's hand before walking off. Beau hugged me before we got in the car and drove back to Pittsburgh so I could break the news to Geno and Sid. Obviously I need to tell the other guys like Letang. Oh I'm really going to miss Krissy and Bortz. After the long drive back to Pittsburgh, we made our way to Geno's where Letang, Sid and Marc-Andre was.

"Where have you been?" Geno said in his thick Russian accent.

"Guys, I really need to speak to you all." They all looked at me and I gulped. "As you probably know, Beau and I got caught being together by Dan Bylsma and he let me go." They all gasped and I put my hand up. "There's more. I got offered a job for the Maple Leafs. Today Beau and I went down to Toronto and I met up with Randy Carlyle who showed us both around."

"Please don't say it Dan." Sid complained.

"I leave tomorrow." They all got up and hugged me.

"I'm going to miss you sis." Sid said as he huggd me tightly. Beau walked over with many boxes. Beau and I walked up to my room and started packing my stuff up. After a while, the others walked up and helped us finish packing. "We are going to drive down with you tomorrow." I nodded and sat on my bed with Beau. My phone rang so I answered it and it was Randy telling me that my house was all ready and it was around the corner from the arena. Well, I guess this is the start of my new job, 5 hours away from my boyfriend and family.
