The next day was a free day for the Pens and Beau said he wanted to see me so Geno was currently driving me over there. When we pulled up, Geno hugged me and I made my way to Beau's apartment. I knocked on the door and Beau answered.

"We aren't staying here sorry." I laughed and he walked out before shutting the door and holding my hand. We got downstairs and Beau went to get into his car. "Fuck." He called a cab instead and told them where we were going.

"How are you feeling Beau?" I asked.

"I'm good. It doesn't hurt actually." We both laughed and soon we pulled up at a park. Beau paid the driver and we both got out. "So." He said taking my hand in his.

"Beau, I really have something to ask you."

"Oh yeah? Wait. You didn't seem too happy about that."

"I'm not actually. Beau, I really like you bu-"

"Don't Dan. Please, I promise I can do whatever it takes. Don't break up with me."

"That's the thing Beau, I technically can't. You haven't even asked me out yet. I've been waiting for about a few months and you haven't done it."

"That's why I brought you here today Dan. I wanted to do something romantic for you. You deserve so much more than just a random asking you out. I had the whole day planned. We were just going to hang out, then go to this really nice restaurant and then I was going to walk you home and ask you out."

"Really?" He nodded and I hugged him. "I'm sorry that I ruined your plans Beau."

"You haven't babe." We started laughing and he lead me over this hill and there was a beautiful beach. He rolled his trousers up and we walked down to the water. He still had his collarbone sling on so things were quite difficult for him to do. When we were by the water, he turned to face me and smiled.

"What?" I asked making him laugh a bit.

"Your just so beautiful." I blushed and placed a kiss on my cheek. "Will you be my girlfriend Danielle?" I nodded and kissed him before he pulled away. "This would have been so much more romantic if I didn't have this thing." He said looking at his sling. We both laughed and just messed around for a while until Beau announced that we had to go for our reservation at the restaurant. I was wearing one of my favourite dresses. It wasn't formal, it was just a violet dress that went up to my knees. We arrived at the restaurant and we were shown to our table.

"How are you going to cut up your food." I said to Beau joking around.

"I think I'm just going to have pasta. It's easier." we both laughed and decided what we were having.

After we had food, Beau asked if we could go around a few shops. I agreed and as we were walking around, we saw a jewellery shop. I looked in the window and saw a beautiful ring that was covered in diamonds. I was about to walk off when Beau walked in.

"Beau." I went to walk in but I stopped myself. Obviously I didn't want Beau doing anything stupid but for all I know he could be buying something for someone as Christmas was soon. He walked out a few minutes later with a little bag. He lead me back to the beach and we just chilled out for a few house. He sat up and went into the bag.

"I'm so glad that I have you Dan. I don't think I could loose you. So, can we make a promise." I nodded and he opened the box to show the ring I had just previously been admiring. "It's not an engagement. I just love you." He placed the ring on my right hand and I hugged him before kissing him. "I should really get you back." I nodded and we made our way back to Geno's.

"Thank you for everything. I love you." I kissed him again and he smiled.

"I love you too." I walked in and saw Sid stood by the door.

"Hey brother."

"Why are you so late?" He asked.

"I was with Beau. I told you that I was going to be with him today."

"Dan, it's like 1am. I've been trying to ring you." He said.

"I accidentally left my phone here Sid. I'm sorry." He sighed and walked out of the front door. I walked upstairs and went into my room before getting changed. I looked at my phone and saw several texts and phone calls from Sid. I ignored them and saw a text from Beau.

same. Thankyou for the ring and everything. I love you too x'

I put my phone on charge, took my ring off and went to sleep.
