Danielle's POV

Beau and I both decided to go to the gym because I had been feeling really terrible about myself since having Jace so Sidney and Jessica agreed to look after the kids for us. They brought their kids over to our house because Brooke didn't want to leave Aria. I put on a baggy top and some yoga pants before walking out to find Beau in his Penguins top and shorts.

"Mommy, do you guys have to go?" Brooke asked.

"Yeah baby but we'll be back soon. Uncle Sid's here so you'll have load of fun!" I explained making her smile.

"I love uncle Sid!" She squealed making me smile. I opened the door and Sid had just turned up so I put mine and Beau's bags in the trunk of the car before walking back in the house to see Beau and Brooke playing with Aria.

"Beau. Are we going?" I asked him making him look at me. He nodded and kissed Brooke on the cheek before walking over to me. We waved at her and I hugged Sid before we made our way to the gym. We were on the treadmills when Beau turned to me.

"I have an interview tonight." He said as we carried on working out.

"Oh really? I thought you were taking Brooke to training." I replied.

"I want to, but the interview is so late, I won't be there to take her but I will be there to pick her up." He told me making me sigh. Brooke loved Beau taking her to training but because of his job, he couldn't. "Babe please don't be disappointed in me." He spoke with a sigh.

"I'm not disappointed in you?" I told him but it came out as more of a question. "Look, I don't think she'll mind you not taking her to training, as long as you're there for her game on the weekend then that's fine."

"Um, yeah, about that. You see, I have a training camp an-"

"Seriously Beau? You are seriously missing her game?"

"It's not like I want to! I kind of have to." He argued back.

"Then you're telling her tonight that you're not going to be there." I said as I got off the treadmill.

"Where are you going?" He asked with a groan.

"I'm done, I'm getting my mom to pick me up." I told him as I walked out. I rang my mom's number and she said that she would be 5 minutes so I stood there and waited. Beau didn't even come out to we if I was ok or to even try to sort things out. Don't get me wrong, I love that Beau is living his dream and gets to be in the NHL but I just wish that he would stop promising Brooke things that he knows he can't do. I think he's been to one of her games because he's always had things on with the team. I know that I shouldn't get so angry at him but I just can't help it. My mom didn't speak to me in the car, she just drove me back to the house and then left. She probably thought I was stupid for reacting that way. When I got in the house, Sid was on the couch watching TV but the kids weren't downstairs.

"Hey Dan." He greeted as I sat next to him.

"Hey Sid, where's Brooke and Jace?" I asked him.

"Upstairs. Jace had literally just gone to sleep and Brooke is playing with her dollhouse." I nodded and he looked around. "Where's Beau? And why are you back so early?" He asked.

"He's still at the gym. We had an argument because he couldn't make it to Brooke's game or training." I explained.

"When's her training?"

"Soon." I simply told him. I love Sid but he can go from being super relaxed to an overly protected brother really fast.

"I'll take her." He suggested. "C'mon, get her ready and we'll go out to get something to eat and then take her to training." I nodded and stood up before walking upstairs to see Brooke sat in front of her dollhouse.

"Hey Brookie. Uncle Sid and I are going to take you out for some food before training ok?" She nodded and quickly packed everything away before we made our way downstairs after I had got changed.

"Mommy, where's daddy?"

"He's still at the gym." She frowned but then smiled at Jace who was asleep in the pushchair. I decided that I should text Beau to tell him where we were although it probably wouldn't matter to him.

Sid and I have taken the kids out for food before Brooke's training. - Danielle

I then turned my phone off and decided to enjoy and nice meal with my kids and my brother because I don't really spend as much time with Sid as I would like too.
