Love At First Sight - Beau Bennett

The next few days were kind of a blur for me. Beau has been down in Philadelphia for a while so it has just been Brooke and I. That was obviously fine though. We've spent most of the days watching films after school or doing the work that was set for them, so like reading. Today was a Saturday so Brooke and I were just curled up on the couch watching her favourite Disney film, Peter Pan in these matching onesies that Beau got us both for Christmas. He was so strange. He wasn't due back for a while so Brooke and I weren't on a time scale to pick him up. Brooke shortly fell asleep and I think I lasted half of the movie before falling asleep myself. I woke up to see Tangled on, I looked at the tv before turning to my side to see that Brooke wasn't there. Ok, this was scaring me. I called her but she didn't answer. I got my phone to ring Beau when I saw that he had tagged me in photos on Facebook. Obviously, I ignored them and started running around the apartment.

"BROOKE!! This isn't funny now!" I ran into her room to see her and Beau sat on the bed. Beau wasn't meant to be home for a few days. I grabbed onto Brooke and hugged her tightly as I quietly cried. "Don't ever do that again." I scolded making her nod.

"Daddy put Tangled on for me!" She happily said as she walked out of her room, carrying a massive simba teddy. Beau looked at me and I think that I literally jumped on him.

"Someone's happy to see me." He muttered into my shoulder.

"I love you, you know that right?" He nodded and kissed me before we both walked back to the living room. I looked on Facebook and saw that Beau had tagged me in three pictures.
The first one was of Brooke and I sleeping earlier.

The second one was of the both of us the day Beau proposed. Sid took it of us just as Beau placed the ring on my finger.

'Beau Bennett - so, um, yeah. She said yes!'

And finally there was a photo of Kris, Sid, Geno and I all stood around laughing. There wasn't a caption to that photo. The other two captions made me laugh quite a bit. Since moving to Toronto and then moving in with Beau, I haven't seen much of Sid or Geno but thankfully they are all coming over later. And by all I mean Sid, Jessica and my beautiful niece, Geno and his missus, Krissy and his son Alex, Marc-André and finally Bortz. Beau and I sat on the couch whilst Brooke sang along to Tangled and Beau looked at me.

"May I help you?" I asked making him laugh.

"What? So I have to have a reason to look at my beautiful fiancé now?" I blushed and he took out his phone and laugh. "Neal just text me."

"Oh yeah? Anything new?" I asked not wanting to sound rude, even though I couldn't give a crap about what was new.

"Apparently, him and Rosie are expecting."

"Hold up! They're back together again? They finished with each other last week!!" Those two really confused me. They were always on and off. The door knocked so Beau answered it and Geno walked in with his girlfriend Freya. I hugged them and Brooke ran over to Geno and hugged him. Brooke literally loved all of the guys. Geno hugged Brooke back and then he joined me on the couch with Freya sat next to him. Brooke ran over to me with her simba toy. I looked down at her and realised that we both were still in our pyjamas. I apologised to Evgeni and Freya before walking to the bedroom and changing into a pair of denim ripped jeans and a black knitted jumper. Brooke called me so I ran to her room and saw her going threw her wardrobe.

"Mommy. I want my purple dress but it's not here!" She spoke making me chuckle. I went to her wardrobe and found her dress before helping her put it on. We walked back out and Kris was stood talking to Beau and Evgeni with Alex beside him. "Alex!" Brooke shouted before hugging the 3 year old boy. I tapped Kris on the shoulder and he turned around before pulling me into a big hug.

"How's it going Elle?"he asked. He has recently been calling me Elle because he wants his own nickname for me which made me laugh.

"It's going good thanks Krissy. How are you coping?" I asked as I looked down at Alex. The thing with Alex is that just after we had Brooke, Kris adopted Alex because he felt like he couldn't wait anymore. He has done really well with Alex and Kris has actually found a very nice girl. They are only friends for the moment.

"I'm doing good actually Elle. Thank you for minding him the other day."

"Anytime Kris. You know that." He nodded and they door knocked so I went to answer it. When I answered the door I saw Sid stood there with Jessica and Hilary. Hilary ran straight to Brooke and Alex and Sid hugged me. We were all just going to order pizza because it was a lot easier than cooking. The three children went to Brooke's room and all of the adults sat on the couch. We were just waiting for Marc-Andre and Bortz but they shouldn't be long. Beau sat on the couch next to me and he smiled.

"You always happy Sunshine." Evgeni spoke making us laugh.

"That's because I have the best life I could ask for." He replied making me blush like mad.

"So cheesy Sunshine." Sid laughed as Beau threw a pillow at him. We all laughed and Sidney walked towards the door. I literally did not hear the door being knocked. Both Bortz and Flower walked in and sat on the other couch. "We haven't done this in a while guys!" Sid announced making us chuckle slightly.

"Last time we all got together properly was before Brooke was born." Bortz replied. The rest of the night consisted of us just joking and laughing, reminiscing of the old times and just having a good time. This is what I want my life to stay like. It was perfect.
