Twenty Two

I was sitting in Sid's house, none of us were really saying much. Beau had rang me 30 times, literally. But I ignored him. That's selfish I know, I've left him at home with Brooke and totally rejected his calls but in the end, he was the one who was being unreasonable. He needs to understand that Shane is engaged, it doesn't matter that Hanna is pregnant, it's actually an amazing thing. I told Sid everything that happened and he just got me a hot chocolate and let me have control of the TV. I was watching Alice in Wonderland, occasionally pushing my glasses up if they fell down and taking a sip from my hot chocolate. The doorbell rang so Sid went to answer it to see if it was Jessica. Apparently not.

"Danielle, listen to me." I heard Beau say. I kinda just stayed in the position I did, I didn't want him to see the occasional tears that leaked from my eyes. I missed him so much but he needs to stop being so protective and learn that Shane needed him. Sid excused himself and left Beau and I to talk.

"Where's Brooke?" I asked very dryly.

"With Sutter, is that all you can say to me. You can't even look at me. Shane and I have sorted everything." He came and sat over on the armchair so I could see him. "Are you crying? Baby, I was out of order." He sat next to me and pulled me into his side as I cried more. "Danielle please tell me what's wrong."

"It's a mixture of things." I choked out. "Shane doesn't need you hating him because his fiancé is pregnant, I have really bad pregnancy hormones and I've missed you so much. I hate arguments but I needed to make my point." He kissed my forehead and just continued to hug me.

"Baby, the only reason that I was annoyed with Shane is because I'm nervous. I'm not ready for my baby brother to be getting married and becoming a dad. I overreacted and I apologise for that. I just want you to come home to us, Shane is coming over and we need to get Brooke." I looked at him and kissed him to show that I was over the argument. Beau meant the world to me and arguing sucked but being pregnant doesn't exactly help.
