Twenty Eight

I was allowed to bring Jace home today which was amazing. The both of us had been in hospital for about 3 days because my pregnancy wasn't as smooth as when I had Brooke but that was fine. My mom was looking after Brooke whilst Beau helped me. We had packed most things up and I got changed into some leggings and a baggy top while Beau changed Jace into a baby grow that Geno bought us. After we had sorted everything out, we made our way out of the hospital and to the car. I sat in the back with Jace and Beau drove us back to the house which is where my mom would be meeting us with Brooke.

"How far gone is Shane's fiancé?" I asked Beau as he concentrated on the roads.

"About 4 months I think. I haven't really spoken to him." I nodded and decided to just look at Jace. I couldn't help but smile at the sleeping baby. We pulled up at the house and Beau got Jace out of the car along with the changing bag whereas I got out my clothes bag. We walked into the house and Brooke ran straight up to us.

"Mommy can I hold Jace?" She asked making me smile.

"In a minute." She nodded and ran back over to my mom.

"Do you guys need any help?" My mom asked as she gestured to the bags. I shook my head and placed my bag down before taking Jace off Beau so he could sort himself out before he had to go to the gym. I sat down next to Brooke and she moved slightly closer to me as she held her Olaf teddy.

"Can I hold him now mommy?" I nodded and carefully passed Jace to her. "Mommy he's so small." She cooed making us laugh. Beau walked into the room and picked up his gym bag. "Daddy. Can we also gets dog?" Brooke asked Beau. It was obvious that he would let her because she was a daddy's girl.

"We'll have to see Brooke." He thanked my mom for looking after Brooke and said goodbye to us before leaving.

"Shall we finish watching our film?" My mom asked Brooke. She nodded and my mom turned on the TV to show that they had been watching Mulan. I took Jace off Brooke and looked at my phone to see that Beau had text me.

'I'll stop after the gym and look for a dog for Brooke. She wanted a beagle right? X' - beau<3

'Seriously? God she's gunna be so happy haha. Are you sure that we shouldn't wait a while? And yes she did want a beagle.' - Danielle:)

'Well I've seen many people getting jealous of their new brother or sister so i figured that it would take her mind off it.' - beau<3

'That's true. Have you pulled over or something?' - Danielle:)

'I'm still outside😂' - beau<3

I laughed at his text and put my phone down before watching the film with Brooke and my mom. The film was already half way through it so by the time Beau had come home, it was almost finished. I looked out the window and saw that Beau was carrying the puppy so I looked at Brooke who was sat on the floor playing with her Frozen teddies.

"Hey Brooke. Dad's at the door and he needs you to open it." She nodded and got up to open the door. When she saw the door she freaked out.

"Mommy look what daddy brought home!" She squealed as Beau walked into the house. I got up and sat in the single chair so that I could keep Jace away from the excitable puppy and Beau sat where I was previously sat. Brooke sat next to him and he left go of the dog who immediately ran to Brooke and licked her. "Is she mine?"

"She's all yours." She smiled more and the puppy jumped off the couch and lied down next to the frozen teddies. "What are you going to name her?" Beau asked.

"Aria." I was actually shocked that she knew that name.

"That's a cute name." My mom said making Brooke smile. "Anyway, I think Sid's coming over soon with the girls so I better do some cleaning." I laughed at my mom who kissed my forehead before walking out.

"Brooke, do you want to put Aria's bed in your room?" She nodded and ran upstairs with Beau following her with the dog's bed. I went upstairs to the nursery and put Jace in his crib before walking to mine and Beau's room and collapsing on the bed. I was so tired it was unbelievable. I got under the covers and shortly fell asleep with the noises of a very excitable child in the background along with a dog barking.
