Have you ever felt utterly alone in the darkness, surrounded by silence? That's what Taehyung was experiencing at this moment. He stood, gazing peacefully out at the sprawling city through the enormous, transparent glass walls, while the urge to swallow himself up consumed him. The city lights flickered like distant stars, but they couldn't illuminate the shadows within his heart.

For once, Taehyung yearned to be free, to let his true self emerge and shatter all the barriers of pretense. He imagined the immense relief of a black hole devouring him, transporting him to another world where he could live authentically. But the answer was no.

He was bound by countless invisible strings, each one a tether to responsibilities and expectations. Despite his strength, he didn't break free. He wanted to stay here with his family, his friends, and most importantly, with Jimin. But when was the last time he felt independent? A day, a week, a month, a year, a decade? Time had blurred, the days merging into a monotonous stream of obligations.

Taehyung knew he was selfish, yet he couldn't help himself. He wanted both his independence and his family. If you asked him why he couldn't sleep at night, he'd probably shrug it off. But the real reason was buried deep within him. It was baffling how someone rich, handsome, intelligent, strong, and loved could feel like a trapped bird with crooked wings. His dreams were vivid prisons, each night a reminder of the freedom he lacked.

The answer was still elusive.

Taehyung was ready for university, but his mind was deeply entrenched in thoughts of 'what ifs.' What if he had to spend his entire life like this, trapped? What if one day he drained out from the suffocation of this uneasy and unsettling feeling? His chest tightened at the thought, a physical manifestation of his inner turmoil.
