"Opportunity does not knock, it presents itself when you beat down the door."

The Kims were gathered in the living room, the air thick with excitement and the unmistakable hum of anticipation. Cushions had been strategically placed for optimal lounging, snacks were stacked precariously on the coffee table, and the dim glow from the screen gave the space a cozy, intimate feel. It was movie marathon night—a sacred tradition—but the absence of the youngest duo hadn't gone unnoticed. Not that anyone seemed too concerned; the rest of the family had already made themselves comfortable.

"Jin, stop trying to poke your boyfriend under the blanket. Let the poor man watch the movie in peace," Namjoon's voice cut through the chatter, sharp and tinged with exasperation. His gaze, cool and commanding, landed on Jin, who quickly retracted his hand as though caught in the act of some terrible crime.

"Ugh, Appa! It's not that serious," Jin grumbled, though his cheeks betrayed him with a faint tinge of pink. He muttered something unintelligible under his breath, clearly displeased at being called out.

"Baby, let it go," V interjected smoothly, his tone the epitome of calm authority. He stretched his long legs across the couch, a serene smirk playing on his lips. "They're not kids anymore. Pointing out these things makes you sound ancient."

Namjoon's mouth opened, likely to retort, but V's pointed look had him clamping it shut. Jin, on the other hand, gave a sheepish nod, though not without a dramatic roll of his eyes. He shifted closer to Yoongi, throwing a hasty glare at his father before pretending to focus on the screen.

Meanwhile, Yoongi was waging a battle of his own, though his opponent was far less forgiving. Hoseok, ever the playful troublemaker, had been teasing him mercilessly for the better part of the evening. His antics—ranging from exaggerated eyebrow wiggles to hushed whispers laden with innuendo—had reduced Yoongi, the usually unflappable one, to a flustered mess. His pale cheeks were now a striking shade of crimson, his composure unraveling more with every passing second.

"Hoseok, I swear to—" Yoongi began, his voice low and warning, but his words were cut off by another obnoxious eyebrow waggle. Hoseok's grin only widened as he leaned in, clearly enjoying his best friend's torment.

It was Jeongguk who decided to put an end to the chaos. Silent and precise as always, he reached over and placed a firm hand on Hoseok's thigh. The gesture wasn't rough, but the squeeze that followed left no room for misinterpretation. "Knock it off and focus on the movie," Jeongguk murmured, his tone steady but carrying an undeniable edge.

The effect was instantaneous. Hoseok froze, his eyes widening in surprise before a deep blush spread across his cheeks. He swallowed hard, nodding obediently as he turned back to the screen like a scolded schoolboy. Jeongguk, satisfied with the response, leaned back into his seat, an almost imperceptible smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth.

Yoongi, who had watched the whole exchange with wide eyes, had to bite his lip to keep from laughing out loud. His shoulders shook slightly with suppressed mirth as he caught Hoseok stealing furtive glances at Jeongguk, the latter blissfully unaware—or so it seemed.

The cozy camaraderie was interrupted by the sudden chime of the doorbell, its sharp sound cutting through the room like an unwelcome guest. A collective groan rose from the group, their irritation palpable.

"Seriously? Who dares interrupt our sacred movie marathon?" Jin huffed dramatically, throwing his hands in the air.

"Aish! It must be those two brats," Namjoon grumbled, his frown deepening as he glanced toward the door. "Didn't Tae have practice today? What's taking them so long?"
