"Goodnight!" I shouted. I was standing on my balcony, and Ty had his window open and we talked a little bit as we watched the moonrise.
"Bye beautiful!" He said, shutting his window. I waved to him and then I walked inside my bedroom.
The bed was cold, yet the billion pillows and the thick and heavy sheets kept me warm all night until the point that I would sweat.
As I began to settle down in the bed, I heard a faint whisper coming from my closet.
"Brynn!"
I turned my head quickly to see what the heck made that noise. It had to be a person; the wind doesn't talk.
"Brynn!" It said again.
Ok, now I was scared. I didn't move a muscle and I tried to keep my breathing as quiet as possible. The closet door creaked open a little and I jumped up to my feet. In self defense, I grabbed a pillow and I held it out in front of me.
"What do you want?" I whispered back.
"It's me!"
Who's 'me?'
"Who?"
I watched as the door opened fully and Lia came out of the closet.
I exhaled and I dropped the pillow.
"Lia! What do you want?" I said with anger. She was so sneaky and sometimes she was annoying.
"I wanted to surprise you!" She said in a goofy tone.
I rolled my eyes as I walked over to the light switch and I flicked it on.
"What is it?"
My patience was lowering.
Lia dove back into my closet and she came out with a beautiful pink ball gown in her hands. She hung it on the top of the closet door so I could see it fully. I gasped.
It was beautiful.
I ran over to it and I admired the silky fabric.
"Lia! This is beautiful!" I exclaimed. "Where'd you get this!?"
"I made it. I began it when Brianna still lived here; it was meant for her but I want you to have it." Lia explained.
I hugged her.
"Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!" I screamed with excitement.
Lia kissed my head and apologized for intruding.
Then she said goodnight and she left my bedroom. I looked at the gown again and then I shut the lights off and I climbed in bed.
.............................................I woke up late the next morning. The sun wasn't as bright in my room and, considering from the noise of people talking outside, it was probably around noon.
I looked at the pink dress. It was still hanging on the side of my closet, gracefully shining with all its beauty.
I walked into my closet and I came out wearing a navy blouse and some white shorts and sandals.
Then, I left my room and I walked to the kitchen.
There was no one around. The castle was silent. Where was everybody?
I opened the fridge (for the first time since I had arrived) and I decided on eating a slice of cheese on bread.
I assembled my sandwich together and then I took a bottle of water and I sipped from it. The cold water slammed into my teeth, causing them to turn cold all of a sudden and I coughed.
