The medicine wore off about 12 hours later. It was dark outside and I woke up because I felt my arm to be really itchy.

I shot up and out of the bed and I almost peeled the bandage off because I was scratching my wrist so badly.

The moonlight illuminated my big bedroom, making the golden furniture glow with a silvery hue.

I wanted to walk outside and stand on my balcony and just look out into the distance, yet I was captivated by the pink ball gown on my closet door.

Why was it there? I didn't exactly remember. I walked over to it and I examined it. It wasn't my style. What the heck was this doing here? It had to go. I don't know why it was here and that really scared me. It was really heavy when I lifted it off the hook and I carried it with me. I quietly crept around the castle and I ended up walking all the way outside and beyond castle territory. I had to climb over the tall fence that segregated the outside world from the castle land. And I walked all the way to the little lake next to the bench and the trees. I looked up and I saw my balcony, which was tiny from the angle I was at. Then I redirected my attention to the dress. Without thinking, I rolled it up into a tight ball and I heard some of the crystals pop off and they fell into the water. I watched as they sunk to the sand on the bottom and I looked up to find a figure standing there. I screamed and I dropped the dress very close to shore.

The figure moved closer to me and I recognized it as Ty.

"What the hell are you doing here!?" I commanded. Ty walked over to me and he picked up the dress.

"Why are you here?" He asked as he handed me the dress. "Lia made you that."

The memory suddenly came back to me. Lia did make me this dress; I was angry at myself for forgetting that. The stupid medicine was playing tricks on me.

I looked at the damaged gown. The crystals which had fallen off left tiny holes on the torso part, and mud caked the bottom.

"You ruined it."

I turned around quickly to see Lia standing there with tears in her eyes. She had her pajamas on, and her feet were bare.

"Lia I-"

"Don even try." She said, holding her hand up to me. "I saw you run out of the castle like a lunatic, and with that dress in your hands, I was concerned. Ty heard you wake up, and we followed you here. I can't believe you!"

I was angry at her.

"That is no way to speak to a princess!" I said. Lia suddenly gasped as she realized who she was actually talking to.

"Oh God-"

"Don't even try." I said, mimicking what she'd said a moment before. Lia looked hurt. "I have to report this incident to the queen. You NEVER yell at a princess. You're nothing but a worthless maid! I can't believe you even had the gut to stalk me here! I'll have you fired by morning!" I began. A tear fell down Lia's cheek. "I hope you regret this" I said, throwing the dress into Lia's arms "and I hope that when you leave the castle, you take that garbage with you." I snapped. Lia was officially sobbing.

Ty walked over to my side and he placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Stop." He said sternly.

I looked at him and I stomped away and back to the castle.

The following morning, I woke up, with no medicine giving me memory conflicts or any outbursts. I remembered what had happened the night before, and I formally went and apologized to Lia.

I walked over to her bedroom and I opened her door without knocking. She was sitting on her bed, holding the dress and sobbing. She seemed stunned to see me.

I walked over to her and I hugged her.

"I'm so sorry." I began. "The medicine took over me."

Lia pulled away and nodded.

"I understand. I was a bit hurt by your words, yet I still fixed your dress."

She held it in front of me and it looked even more beautiful. I gasped from at the sight of it.

"Thank you!" I said, hugging Lia again.

She giggled and kissed my cheek.

"Here. She said, handing me the gown. I smiled and I scurried back to my room to hang it in the closet. I swung open the door and I grabbed a fuzzy pink hanger. Then I gently handled the dress and I put it on the rack with the others.

I turned around and I saw Ty standing in the doorway of my bedroom.

"Is everything okay between you, Lia and the dress?" He asked.

I nodded and explained how Lia fixed it and forgave me. Ty smiled.

"Good. I was worrying that you forgot who I was or something...that medicine really made you go crazy." He said. I smiled and I returned my attention back to shutting the closet door. Then I opened the door to the balcony and I let some fresh air in.

Ty walked over to the leather chest at the end of my bed and he sat down on it, as usual. I walked over to him and I sat next to him. He looked at me and he gazed at my scars that were still healing. Most of them were new.

"I can't believe I did this to you." He said, touching my hand gently as he ran his finger over a scabby scratch on my wrist.

"Don't worry about it. I'm alive and well, nothing bad happened." I said.

Ty looked at me with fear in his eyes.

"They had to give you stitches on your slit arm. He said. I gasped.

"Really? No one told me that until now. "

"Yeah. I had to leave the room then to refrain from crying. You looked so hurt..." he began. Then he smiled after he saw me giggle.

"Our relationship is so cliché." I said, laughing. Ty agreed.

"But it's pretty awesome." He said. I laughed even harder.

This whole scenario was predictable.

"But I see where you're coming from." He said and we both sat there, laughing like lunatics until our sides hurt.
