Chapter 4: Go Home (Upton's PoV)

Today was a bit of a rough day for me, if it was that I was not going to lie to my self either. As it was that I kind of felt bad as to just what it was that I was about to have to do. As to the fact that it was that I was going to have to tell my boss the bad news.
That was of course the fact that it was that I knew that I had in fact been working at this place since I was 14... As I had been helping him plant and grow crops all this time, all at the exact same time too. I kind of felt bad that it was that I was going to have to leave.
As it was that I felt like it was that I was not all too sure as to just what it was that the reason would be. As it was that I knew that if I was to tell him that I had found a new and a better job. Than he would know that it was that I was in fact lying, at that.
As it was that there was not really any where better for me to work besides this place. As it was an easy job, and it did in fact give me a little bit of an extra income. To buy things that it was that I did in fact enjoy to use, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there. And I had in fact just seemed to have stared for just a little bit more time, all at the exact same time as well, at that. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to all of the sudden go right on ahead, all at once, at that.
And I just then did in fact just seem to start to suddenly breathe in a little bit of a soft sigh to my self. I did my best to try to act as calm, and I did my best to try to act as normal as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once, at that. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to get my mind, and my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared for just a little bit more time. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to finish off what it was that I was doing, all at once. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to begin to speak a little bit quietly to my self, all at once, at that, never the less.
"Come on Upton... Don't be a pussy..." I said to my self, all at the exact same time too. As I knew that my boss was not all too far away from me. And he was in fact pulling out a few of what we liked to call fresh crops, all at the exact same time too, at that.
I kind of just seemed to just shake my head a little bit to my self. As it was that I knew that I did in fact kind of feel like I could not help but to feel guilty about this all, never the less. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to all of the sudden get my mind, and I got my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff, all at once.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared for just a small bit of some time, all at the exact same time too. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to all of the sudden go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too. And I just then did in fact just seem to start to let out a bit of a rough sigh to my self, all at once, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too, all at once. And I just then did in fact just seem to start to walk right on over towards where he was standing just now, never the less.
As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to see him turn his head on over towards me. As it was clear that it was that he had heard my foot steps dragging on over towards him, never the less. As it was that he just seemed to tilt his head, as it was that he seemed to be a little bit worried about me, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that we had in fact just seemed to have locked eyes with one another for just a few seconds of some time. As it was that I was wondering as to just why it was that he might be worried about me just now. That was when I just then did in fact begin to start to hear his voice as he then did in fact begin to start to speak on over towards me of course.
As it was that I had in fact began to have heard his voice. I kind of just seemed to blink my eyes a few times at first. As I just then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say towards me, all at the exact same time too.
"Are you okay Upton? You don't look to be all tell well... Are you feeling sick?" He asked me, as it was clear that he was in fact a good man. As well as the fact that he was in fact a good boss. As it was clear that he was in fact looking out for me, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
I kind of wanted to feel a little bit better about what it was that he had in fact said to me. But just thinking of how it was that he was in fact a good man. It did in fact kind of make me feel a little bit worse about this all. And as to just what it was that I knew that what it was that I was about to have to go right on ahead and do, at that.
As it was that I kind of just seemed to dip my head a little bit low to the ground for just a few seconds of some time, at that. As it was that I was still not all too sure as to just what it was that I should say. And as to just what it was that would in fact be a good enough excuse for just what I was about to do.
As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time as well. And I just then did in fact begin to start to realize that it was that I should just start a little bit more simple. And that it was that I could in fact just go from there, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to all of the sudden lift my head up at the thought of that. And I just then did in fact begin to look at the man in his worried eyes, all at the exact same time too. As I just then did in fact begin to start to speak right on over towards him, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time as well, never the less. That was when I just then did in fact begin to start to let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self at first. As I knew that it was that I needed to calm my self down, all at the exact same time too, once again.
As I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I was even doing just now, at that. Nor as to just what it was that I was even thinking just now, all at the exact same time too, never the less. As I knew that it was that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I even had to say just now, never the less. As it was that I did in fact just seem to start to continue to speak on over towards him.
"I'm sorry boss... I've got some bad news to tell you..." I said on over towards him, all at once, at that. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to get my mind. And I just then did in fact just seem to start to get my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts that it was that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now, all at once, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared for just a little bit more time. In the end, I just then did in fact just seem to start to get my mind. And I just then did in fact just seem to start to get my focus on just what it was that I was in fact even doing just now.
As it was that I knew that it was that I had to do this, all at the exact same time too, at that. As this was not some thing that I could just procrastinate on what so ever. As I knew that it was that I was going to be time traveling fairly soon from now, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared for just a slight bit more time, all at the exact same time too. That was when I just then did in fact begin to start to nod a little bit to my self. As it was that I was in fact about to go right on ahead and continue to speak back on over towards him, at that.
As it was that I was about to do as such a thing like that how ever. As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have opened my mouth to speak. That was when I just then did in fact begin to start to hear my bosses voice as it was that he did in fact begin to start to speak up in stead.
As it was that I was in fact a little bit lost by it at first. As well as the fact that it was that I was in fact kind of shocked by it, as well. As it was that I just then did in fact begin to start to lift my head up once again, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As I just then did in fact just seem to start to look at my boss right in to his eyes, at that. As it was that I could still tell that he was in fact worried for me, all at the exact same time as well, at that. As it was that I just then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even had to say to me, all at the exact same time too, at that.
"What's wrong? Is some thing going on?" He said, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it was clear that he was in fact kind of freaking out. Just as much as it was that he did in fact just seem to be worried about me, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I just then did in fact begin to start to realize as to just why it was once again. As to why it was that it was so important as to the fact as to just why it was that we did in fact not tell any one about. Just what it was that Doctor Stephen was in fact planning on doing, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As I remembered as to just how freaked out any one got in this city. When ever it was that they did in fact feel like they did in fact seem to get in to any sort of danger, at that. As I kind of just seemed to let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self at first.
As it was that I tried my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could for the mean time. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead. And I just then did in fact begin to start to think of some thing to say to the man as to just what it was that was in fact even going on, at that.
As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to blink my eyes a few times at first, at that. As in the end, I just then did in fact get my eyes locked right on towards my boss, at that. As I then did in fact just seem to start to shake my head on over towards him, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when I just then also did in fact begin to start to speak right back on over towards him, all at once, at that. As I knew that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what ever it was that I did in fact feel like I even needed to say on over towards him in the very first place any ways, never the less.
"No... It's just... I'm going through a lot right now... I just... I think I need some time off..." I said on over towards him, all at the exact same time too. As it seemed like it was the best that it was that I could come up with, all at the exact same time too, at that.
With out the fact that it was that I completely just wanted to lie to him for one thing, at that. As well as the fact that it was that I also knew that I could for sure. That I did in fact not need to tell the truth to him. As he was in fact just my boss, as it was not like we were best friends, at that.
As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to stand there and stare for just a little bit more time, all at the exact same time too. That was when I just then did in fact begin to start to wonder if it was that he was going to ask. And he was going to try to get me to go in to further detail as to just what it was that I was even getting at just now.
I was not all too sure as to just why it was that I did in fact not just tell him the full truth. As to the fact that it was that I knew that I was never going to be working here again. As it was that I was not all too sure as to just what it was that was even going to happen with all of this just yet.
I kind of just got my mind and my focus off of all of that all at the exact same time too how ever. As I also knew that it was of course. That I did in fact not need to have my mind on those thoughts right now. As it was that I did in fact still not want to expose all that was in fact going on just now.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared for just a few moments of some time. It seemed like the man did in fact just seem to start to under stand as to just what it was that I had said. Or what it was that he had in fact at least thought that it was that I was in fact even getting at, all at the exact same time too.
As he just then did in fact just seem to dip his head a little bit low to the ground for just a few seconds, all at the exact same time too. As in the end, he just then did in fact just seem to start to nod right back on over towards me, all at once, at that. As it was that it was clear that he had in fact just seemed to feel a bit bad about it all.
As it was that he had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when I just then in the end, did in fact begin to start to hear him speak right back on over towards me, at that. As I just then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say right at this very moment in time any ways, never the less.
"It's okay Upton... You are always welcome back here... When ever you feel better... I under stand what it is like to go through stuff..." He said to me, all at the exact same time too. As it was that he did in fact have a little bit of a sad smile on his face all at the exact same time too.
As it was clear that he was in fact going to miss seeing my face around here, all at the exact same time too. As I was always a bit of a spark on a bad day for every one. As well as the fact that it was of course, that I was one of the hardest, as well as the best workers that were in fact on this job site.
I kind of just seemed to let out another little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at the exact same time too. As I just then once again, did in fact just seem to start to get my mind, and I just then did in fact just seem to start to get my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff that it was that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared for just a tiny bit more time, all at the exact same time too. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to eventually go right on ahead. And I just then did in fact just seem to start to all of the sudden shake my head quite a bit to my self.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time as well. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead in the end, at that. And I just then did in fact just seem to start to all of the sudden speak back to my boss, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too. I saw that it was that his eyes were in fact quite a bit wide as it was that he was in fact clearly staring back at me. And it was also clear that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what ever it was that I did in fact feel like I even needed to say on over towards him, all at once, at that.
"Thank you... It's been a real blessing to work here..." I said to him, as it was that I had a bit of a smile on my face just as soon as it was that I had in fact just seemed to have said as to just what it was that I had even said, all at the exact same time too. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to blink my eyes a few times, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared at him for just a few more seconds of some time, at that. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to all of the sudden get my mind. And I just then did in fact all of the sudden just seem to start to get my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff that I had in fact just seemed to have even been thinking on long before now.
As it was that we just seemed to stand there and stare at one another for just a tiny bit more time, all at the exact same time too. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to see that it was. That the man then did in fact just seem to start to extend his hand out, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that he just then did in fact just seem to start to see that it was that he was trying to shake my hand, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I just seemed to let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self at first. Just as soon as it was that I had in fact just seemed to have realized that it was in fact the case, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that.
How ever, I was not going to allow that what so ever, all at the exact same time as well, at that. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to shake my head right back on over towards the man, at that. Which as it was that I could tell that it had in fact confused him quite a bit.
As it was that I saw that he just then did in fact just seem to start to tilt his head a little bit back on over towards me, all at once. As he just seemed to be a little bit lost as to just what it was that was in fact going on with me at first. As it was that he was clearly not all too sure as to just what it was that was even happening just now.
How ever, as it was that we just seemed to stand there and stare for a little bit longer, all at once. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead. And I just then did in fact just seem to start to lean in for a hug in stead, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
I saw that it was that it did in fact seem to surprise him a little bit at first, all at the exact same time too. But it was clear that it was that he was not going to reject as to just what it was that I was even doing just now, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I just seemed to hold on to that hug for just a little bit more time, all at once, at that. Until he just then did in fact just seem to start to let go of me all of the sudden, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to stare at me right in to my eyes once again.
As it was that we seemed to just look in to each other's eyes for just a little bit more time, at that. That was when he just then did in fact eventually begin to start to speak back to me. As I of course, did in fact just seem to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say to me, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
"Take care kid... I'll see you soon hopefully!" He said to me, as he did in fact just seem to start to put a little bit of a smile on his face once again. Just as soon as it was that he had in fact even just said as to just what it was that he had said to me of course, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared for just a tiny bit more time, all at the exact same time as well. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead. And I just then did in fact just seem to start to slowly turn my head away from him, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I did my best to try to not get all emotional as to just what it was that was even going on just now, never the less. As this was in fact a job that it was that I had actually liked, and it was in fact a job that it was that I had actually enjoyed, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to get my mind, and I just then did in fact just seem to start to get my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
As I knew that it was that it was in fact getting late any ways, all at the exact same time too. And that my shift was in fact about to end, all at the exact same time as well. As I just then did in fact feel a bit glad that I had in fact just seemed to have got that over with, all at the exact same time too.
As I knew that it was that I needed to get back home, all at the exact same time as well, at that. And that I just did in fact also need to get a little bit of some good sleep, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to get my mind, and my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared right in front of me for just a little bit more time, all at the exact same time too, never the less. That was when I just then did in fact just seem to start to all of the sudden get my mind, and my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff, all at once.
I kind of just did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to take one last look at the farm that was in fact in front of me, all at the exact same time too, none the less. As in the end, I just then did in fact just seem to start to just speak a little bit quietly to my self. As it was that I still felt like it was that I still did in fact just kind of feel a little bit bad as to just what it was that was in fact going on just now.
"Don't worry man... Just go home..."
