POV ISAAC:
As I recalled my kiss with Melanie, I noticed that the lights in the bunker had changed and suddenly a white light appeared in front of Lydia. Scott helped me out of the sarcophagus and I went to Lydia's side. On the other side of the light, I noticed that there were two figures, which really seemed to be Melanie and Stiles, so I started calling out to her. However, as soon as the figures were approaching us, the light disappeared, leaving us very confused.
- It worked? Did they make it through?" I asked looking at Lydia.
"Are you seeing them here by any chance?" Malia asked, looking around her.
- It was working. I saw them... Didn't you see them? - Lydia asked looking at us. She was perfectly aware that I had seen them, however as soon as we looked at Scott and Malia, we realized they hadn't seen them. - I'm not crazy, they were here!
- Scott - said Liam, entering the bunker. - You have to come see something.
"Are you still here?" asked Scott showing a smile when he saw his beta.
- I am, but everyone else left. But you have to come with me now.
- Why? What's up?
- I can't explain it, you really have to see it through your own eyes.
- You stay here, in case they come back. If there is hope, they must keep trying.
"We have to go look for them." Malia said, as soon as Scott left our shore.
- But Scott said...
- I know he said to stay here, but I think if they had to show up here, they would have already done so. You two say they made it through, so we have to go look for them.
"And where did we start?" I asked Malia.
We left the bunker and started our search for Stiles and Melanie but we weren't having much luck. We had already covered most of the city and there was no sign of them. I admit that my hopes of seeing Melanie today were getting a little low, so I decided to head to the only place where I can organize my thoughts, namely the lacrosse field.
As soon as I got to school, I went to the lockers to get my gloves and lacrosse stick and went out to the field. It was as if this place could calm my thoughts and thus make me able to organize my head, but today my mind was 100% focused on Melanie.
Right now I have a whirlwind of feelings inside me... I feel sad that she is far from me, I feel a huge passion for my best friend, I feel scared because I don't know what she is going through in that place... even though she is in Stiles company, but more than anything, I feel angry with myself for having forgotten her and for breaking the promise I made to her. We promised we would get them out of there and the truth is that we didn't!
I was deep in my thoughts when I heard someone calling out to me and it didn't take long for me to recognize that voice. For seconds I still thought it was my head playing tricks on me, but it was when I smelled her perfume that I realized it was real and she was here with me.
Seconds after I turned towards her voice, I felt a body throw itself into my arms and hug me, which I quickly reciprocated. There was no better feeling than having your best friend... the girl you love in your arms, so at this point I was the happiest person in Beacon Hills.
- I can't believe you're really here, with me.
- Neither do I... It seems like a dream!
- And you're fine... They did something to you.- I said inspecting his body looking for wounds.
