3rd Person POV:
1st Destination: Los Angeles
About four hours after leaving Beacon Hills, the Mccall pack arrived in Los Angeles and before starting to explore the city in search of Monroe, Scott thought it best to park the van in a quieter place and do a division of tasks by teams, because if they were going to spend the night in that city, they needed to take care of some matters.
After Scott's directions, Derek parked the van in the area where he and Isaac had found Alec the day before, as it was an abandoned area and so we didn't have the possibility of the pack meeting Monroe or her army. Because all the pack members knew that if Monroe wasn't already in LA, she would never leave the city without some of her men, because they would still be looking for Alec, and Monroe didn't know that he was with Scott. For her, Alec was still hidden around the city and neither she nor her army was going to let a werewolf escape the confrontation alive.
It was time for Scott to make teams and distribute the main tasks. The first team would consist of Derek, Scott, Isaac and Malia and their task would be to scout the city in search of Monroe or any of her associates who might have been left behind. The second team would consist of Liam, Lydia and Stiles and their task would be to go and acquire all the goods they needed to spend the night in the abandoned warehouse. The third and final team would be composed of Theo, Melanie and Alec and their task was to protect Alec, as it was said earlier Monroe's army is still looking for him, so Alec cannot be seen in the city.
- Theo, do you think you can help me take the bags out of the van?- asked Isaac smiling and Theo went with him to the van.- Do you think I can ask you something?
- Let me guess, you want me to promise that I'll protect Melanie in case something happens while you're away.- said Theo showing a smile.
- Am I that transparent?
- A little! But you can rest assured that I won't let anything bad happen to her.- Theo said smiling.
- Thanks. I know she can defend herself, but after what happened in the confrontation with Monroe, I get more and more apprehensive.
- You don't need to explain. Melanie is very important to all of us and none of us want anything to happen to her. She was the only one who believed from the first second that I had changed when I returned from my incident with my sister and the skinwalkers.
"So are we all ready?" Scott asked, looking at his friends.
"Please, everyone be careful." Melanie said looking at her friends.
- You too. Don't be heroin again without protection, you hear me?!- Stiles said.
"I already promised you that I'll be more careful and besides that I have two big and strong werewolves to protect me." Melanie commented smiling as she looked at Theo and Alec.
After saying goodbye, the teams split up, leaving only Theo, Melanie and Alec in the abandoned warehouse. Before joining his two friends, Theo thought it would be best to make a little round around the abandoned area to make sure that the three of them were the only ones in that space and when he saw that there were no signs of more people, Theo joined them. Melanie and Alec were starting to eat the snacks Melanie had put in a backpack.
- I brought you your favorite gummies.- Melanie said giving a small package with gummies.
- You're the greatest, Mel!
About forty-five minutes later Stiles, Lydia and Liam returned to the abandoned warehouse, bringing some bags with food, drinks and some sleeping bags, as this was easier to put in the van, as they would be needed in all the cities that the pack would visit in this chase. Almost two hours after the second team returned, Scott and company also returned to the abandoned warehouse, joining the rest of the pack.
