EPILOGUE Part I

TWO YEARS LATER...3rd PERSON POV:

Two years have passed since Melanie and Isaac's wedding day and we can say that they couldn't be happier and more in love. Some things have changed in these two years in the lives of all members of the Mccall pack, with two of the most important changes being Alec's move, who has bought an apartment and is living with his girlfriend and the engagement of Stiles and Lydia. However what none of them knew was that in the next few months two new members would join the Mccall pack, but I'll let our dear Melanie Lahey explain the great news.

POV MELANIE:

Recently I've been feeling a little strange, that is, I've been feeling nauseous, extremely tired, in fact I've been waking up exhausted for a few days, I'm more fatigued, however the smell of certain foods that I used to love to eat, makes me sick quickly and I have Had huge mood swings.

In the first few days I thought it was a cold that I had, however now I think the reason is completely different. However, before making any decisions, I need to speak with the only person who can help me in this situation, which is Melissa.

As I knew that she was on duty at the hospital today, I decided that the best thing was to go there and talk to her, so as soon as I arrived at the reception I asked to speak with Nurse McCall and Melissa quickly appeared at my side.

- Melissa, do you think we can talk?- I asked as soon as I noticed her presence beside me.

- Of course darling. Let's go to that small office that is free.- Melissa replied pointing to a small room at the end of the corridor.- Did something serious happen?

- I think so, but this time it's not a bad look. I know the question I'm going to ask you next is a little personal and weird, but do you remember how you felt when you were pregnant with Scott?

- In terms of symptoms? Of course I remember... I woke up every morning nauseous and I always ended up throwing up in the bathroom, then I couldn't eat anything because just the smell of food made me nauseous, however my hunger grew more every day, the which is normal.

- And were you tired?

- You can't imagine how much... There were days when I didn't feel like doing anything... It was like I'd been hit by a bus.- Melissa said smiling.- But, Mel, why are you asking me these things?

- Because that's how I feel right now... In fact, I've been feeling this way for a month now.... I thought it was a passing cold, because there have been fluctuations over time, but now I think it's something else...

- Are you trying to tell me that...

- I think I'm pregnant!

- Honey, this is great news. Has Isaac heard the news yet?

- Not yet! I wanted to talk to you first.

- So it's time to clear your doubts. I'm going to talk to a colleague of mine, an obstetrician who's going to do an ultrasound.

- But I don't have an appointment.

- Don't worry, her next appointment is only in two hours, so she has time to attend to you. I'm going to talk to her now and the best thing is to call Isaac and ask him to come to you.
