POV MELANIE:

In these last few days my contact with the rest of the pack members has been less and less, with the exception of Stiles, who we continue to chat every day on facetime. However almost every time I call Scott, Lydia or even Liam, they don't answer, which makes me very worried. But at the end of the day, I always end up getting a text from Scott apologizing for not answering my call and saying that he's just been quite busy with the changes and lacrosse practice.

My gut tells me that there is something very wrong going on in Beacon Hills, and I know that Isaac feels the same way as I do, even though he always tries to assuage my doubts. But regardless of our concerns for our friends, tonight was a very important night for both of us as it was our first date as a couple.

"Are you ready for our first date, my love?" Isaac asked after breakfast.

- Of course you do and since the idea of this meeting was yours, what do you have planned for tonight?

- Honestly nothing... I wanted to go on a date with you and I didn't want to wait any longer... But I didn't think of anything for us to do. But we can always go out to dinner and go to the movies or take a walk around town.

- Or we can go get our dinner out and make our date here at home. I know it's not the most romantic place, but here we always have more privacy and we can still watch a movie.

- Sounds like an excellent idea. But are you sure you don't mind having your first date here, in our own house?

- Of course! I don't need a very elaborate date... I just need to be with you, whether it's here at home or in a five-star restaurant.- I said smiling.

Our afternoon was spent tidying up our house for our long-awaited date. It was half past six when Isaac left the house to pick up our dinner at a restaurant just ten minutes from our house and while he was gone, I took advantage of the quiet and went to get ready. After going through my closet, I ended up choosing to wear a light pink dress, which came down to my knee, and white ballet flats. Then I went to the bathroom to fix my hair and put on some makeup.

As soon as I got ready, I went to the kitchen and set the table and lit two candles, to make for a more romantic atmosphere. When I looked at the kitchen clock I saw that it had been about two hours since Isaac left the house and he still hadn't arrived nor had he sent a message to let her know that he was late, which made me worried, as it was not usual him going so long without texting me or calling me.

I took my cell phone to call him, but he didn't answer me... I called again but the answer was the same! However, almost five minutes later I hear the front door open, which made me feel more relieved and I went to meet him at the door.

- You could have sent me a message saying you were going to be late, I was worried... Isaac?!- I exclaimed as soon as I saw him lying on the floor, unable to breathe very well.

In his chest, on the left side, I noticed that he had some sort of javelin on the side, and behind him appeared a woman and a man who looked to be in their thirties. Upon seeing me, the woman fired a dart in my direction, but as I was a simple human that dart did nothing to me, which means the dart contained wolfsbane.

- She's not like him.- said the man as soon as he realized that the dart had had no effect on me.

- Who are you and what did you do with my boyfriend? - I asked while trying to approach him but as soon as I took the first step forward, the man pointed his gun in my direction.

- Just because you're not a monster like him, doesn't mean we won't kill you.

- Remember that we have to ask them some questions before we kill them.- said the woman.- Tie her up!
