About two days into the journey, the Mccall pack finally made it to Beacon Hills. They arrived at Beacon Hills at half past seven in the morning and before heading to their respective homes, the pack took advantage of the fact that they were on the road and went to have breakfast at a cafe that was on the edge of the Beacon Hills school. As arranged with Deaton last night, Derek parked the van in the clinic's parking lot and left the keys in the mailbox.
- I know we're all very tired, but do we meet for dinner?- Scott asked his friends.- Since most of us are going to start returning to our lives tomorrow, it would be good to have one last group dinner.
- I think it's an excellent idea.- commented Lydia.- And where do we meet?
"We can go to the usual restaurant." suggested Malia.
- I know we miss eating hot food, especially since we eat canned food from the supermarket a lot of days, but what if we met in one of our houses? Two people could pick up food from a takeaway and that way we could be in a group but with our deserved privacy.- suggested Scott.
- Sounds like an excellent idea.- Liam said.- And whose house are we going to?
- We can go to mine. My dad is staying late in his office because of some paperwork.- replied Stiles. - Can it be at 8 pm at my house?
- Deal.- Melanie replied smiling and the group was divided by the different cars.
POV MELANIE:
After Stiles came to bring us to the house, Isaac took the keys to the entrance from his backpack, we put our bags down at the entrance and went to our rooms to rest, as the trip had been quite long and tiring and we were quite tired due to the emotions of the last few days. As I had arranged with my boyfriend, during the trip we were doing some research on schools in Liverpool and found the perfect school for Alec to attend, as it was not far from our university.
Before we could call the school though, we had to talk to a very important person who was Alec's dad's best friend, which is where Alec was living before this whole situation with Monroe. After talking to him and explaining the situation well, he agreed to let Alec come and live with us, because in the messages he and Alec exchanged, Alec spoke very highly of me and Isaac and even told us that he was going to sending Alec's most important belongings through one of his work colleagues who was going on a trip and who he could leave with us along the way. The next step was to call the school and after explaining Alec's situation, we managed to enroll him provisionally, as it was a surprise and as we weren't sure that this was what Alec wanted, we had to go to the school when we went back to Liverpool to sign the papers. The third and final step was to buy our plane tickets and luckily we had a seat for the last flight of the afternoon, which left at seven in the afternoon.
It was half past six in the afternoon when I woke up and seeing that Isaac was still sleeping, I left the room very carefully and went downstairs, towards the kitchen, to go eat something. However, when I reached the last step of the stairs, I saw that the television in the living room was on, which meant that Alec had already woken up.
"Have you been awake for a long time?" I asked, sitting down beside her.
- An hour ago. I went for a walk around the neighborhood and then I came to watch some television.
- Have you eaten yet?- I asked.
- I made a sandwich before leaving the house.
- I'll get a pack of cookies, do you want anything? A juice? A glass of water? Something to eat?
