POV MELANIE:
Today is a very special day, but at the same time a little sad for all members of the Mccall pack, because today is the beginning of a new chapter in our lives regarding universities. And where do the older pack members go? Well, Scott Mccall, will spend the next few years at UC Davis, where he will take the veterinarian course, however he will spend the next two months helping the coach train the Beacon Hills lacrosse team. Stiles goes to Washington to attend the FBI course, thanks to the help of Scott's father, Lydia goes to MIT and Malia goes to France. Isaac and I will spend our next years at the University of Liverpool, England, where I will pursue a Law course and he will pursue a Psychology course.
As yesterday Isaac and I had managed to pack all our bags, today we had more time to spend with all our friends. It was exactly nine o'clock in the morning when the doorbell of our house rang and at the door were none other than Stiles Stilinski and Lydia Martin.
- I would love to be able to say goodbye to you both with more time, but when I get back to Beacon Hills, you won't be around anymore, so I think our goodbye has to be right now. - Lydia said showing a sad smile. - I'm going to miss you so much, Mel. I know you're going to be very busy with classes, with all the fabulous places to visit in England and with Isaac, but don't forget about me and we'll promise here and now that we'll talk every week. I don't say every day anymore, because I don't want to be a bore, but every week.
- It's a promise. And I'll miss you too.- I said going to hug my best friend.
- And you, my boy, take good care of our princess. And I really hope that you move forward with your relationship soon and that you are really happy together. - Lydia said, whispering the last part in his ear, while hugging Isaac, who just smiled at our friend's request.
"I'll do it." Isaac said smiling.
- I know that at first I couldn't stand you, I mean who do I want to fool? There are days I still can't stand you... But I really think you're one of the strongest people I've ever met and that you really deserve to be happy. But if any of you tell anyone this, I'll deny it.- Stiles said giving Isaac a hug.
- I won't hurt her, you can be sure of that. - Isaac said smiling, while shifting his gaze to me.
- Now we, little brat. We both know we don't share the same blood, but you're my annoying little sis, who I never wanted to have. It's amazing how in the space of a few weeks, you've become one of the most important and special people in my life, Mel.
- You are also one of the most important people to me, Stilinski. And I love you so much!
- I love you too Rogers. And I hope you're ready to talk to me every day by facetime.- Stiles said smiling.
- I am ready!
- We really have to go, we still have a few hours to travel.- Lydia said putting her hand on her boyfriend's right shoulder.
- I know. Well guys, see you in person at Christmas.- Stiles said smiling and then the two left our house.
As soon as we saw Lydia's car pull out in front of our house, Isaac and I went to the kitchen to have our breakfast, then to the Beacon Hills High School to say goodbye to Liam, Mason and Theo. As soon as we arrived at the school, I sent a message to Liam asking them to meet us at the entrance of the school, to which he replied in the affirmative.
- I know that both Isaac and I weren't as close to any of you as we were to the older folks, but believe me when I say it was a pleasure to meet you and I'm very proud of the future protectors of Beacon Hills. I don't think this town could have better people looking out for them.
