Epilogue part II

POV MELANIE:

As I said earlier, I sent a message to the Mccall pack whatsapp group saying that I needed to talk to everyone, so today dinner was going to be at our house. As neither I nor Isaac were in the mood to cook, especially with my nausea, we ended up ordering some food from a take away restaurant.

After one more trip to the bathroom to vomit, I returned to my husband's side and sat down next to him on the couch to talk about the future.

- I still can't believe that you're seven weeks pregnant and we only found out today.- said Isaac, as soon as I sat down next to him.

- Neither do I... It seems surreal that I have two human beings growing inside me.

- I can't wait to find out the gender of the children.- said Isaac, caressing my belly.

- Do you realize that in a few months I'm going to be huge?

- I don't care about that, you will continue to be the most beautiful woman in the world.- Isaac said giving me a short kiss on the lips.- I think we can start preparing our babies' room. I know we still have a few months to go but I think it would be a good idea to start planning things ahead of time.

- I agree. In the first years of our son's or daughter's life, we can put them in the same room and then, when they want more privacy, they each have a room.

- I think it's an excellent idea.- said Isaac smiling, but suddenly his smile disappeared and his air seemed conflicted.

- Hey, what's up? My love, tell me what's on your mind.

- You know I didn't have the best example of a father... I'm afraid of becoming my father. I don't want our sons or daughters to go through what I went through. - Isaac said, lowering his head.

- Isaac, that's not going to happen. You will never become your father!

- How can you be sure? My father was also a good father for a while.

- Isaac, I'm absolutely sure you won't be like him. And the fact that you're afraid of that happening shows that you're totally different from the man your father was. Just as you believe that I will be the best mother in the world, I know that you will be the best father in the world. And our children will be so lucky to have you as their father.

- Thanks Mel, I needed to get this weight off my mind... Do you know what went through my mind now? Do you think we're going to have two werewolf babies?

- I don't know... My instinct says no, but if they grow up and are like you, we'll find a way to help them. Come what may, we'll do our best!

- Do you realize that I am the luckiest man in this world? I have the most beautiful woman by my side and I'm going to have the most beautiful children in the universe. Because let's be honest, we are two embers.... so our children will be the most beautiful beings that ever existed.

- Hot Stuff, what do you think about going to the supermarket to buy what we need for dinner? 

The food is taken care of, but we need more things.- I said getting up from the sofa, but Isaac quickly pulled me to the sofa again, making me sit next to him.

- Let me go. Make me a list of what I need to buy... You need to rest.

- Isaac, I'm pregnant, not an invalid. Promise me here and now that you won't treat me like I'm a china doll that could break at any moment.

- You know I just want to protect you and now even more. But I will try to control my protective side.

- Fortunately. Now let's go to the supermarket I feel like chocolate and strawberry jam.- I said getting up from the sofa and went to get my bag.
