Venice Film Festival

Michael POV:

I don't normally go to these things but Sadie invited me to go to the Venice film festival with her before school starts up again. My parents were going too but it wasn't like a family vacation. Both of them were in a new movie that was premiering here too so I'll just go support both of them and Sadie. And aunt Flo! She's coming to promote don't worry darling, which dad isn't too happy about. He is not a fan of that movie cause of all the drama. He almost went to beat up Harry but Charlotte stopped him.

I don't normally love the red carpet but whatever. I can get through it. I got a stylist and everything this time. It was really just Sadie's stylist but they helped me out a bit and gave me fashion advice.

It was Sadie's movie that was premiering first so I walked out with her to the red carpet. Various paps where shouting at her to do different poses so I kinda just stood there and looked nice while she posed.

"Come on, get in some pictures with me!" Sadie exclaimed and took my hand. I smiled and posed with her for a few minutes before it became a bit overwhelming. I excused myself and waved to the cameras before I left the red carpet.

I saw Charlotte waiting by a theater and went to go say hi. She was here too supporting mum and dad but she also was on summer vacation still.

"Aren't you supposed to be on the red carpet?" Charlotte asked teasingly. "I was. Then I left. I took a few pictures and then I was out." I responded and sat down next to her.

"She looks amazing though. The sparkly and fluffy dress is everything." Charlotte raved. "I know. It's hot." I mumbled. She rolled her eyes and took out her phone and scrolled through insta. "Flo's here." She announced and showed me her phone.

I smiled and got up from my seat to go find her. "She's not here yet! She's just in Venice." Charlotte informed me and I sat back down. "I have time then. I need to see Sadie's movie and then go to the carpet again for Flo. And then back again for mum and dad and see their movie." I explained.

Sadie walked in like five minutes later and I stood back up. "Shall we?" I asked and offered my hand out for her. "We shall." She nodded and took my hand. We got to her theater and I held the door open for her like the gentleman I am. I was rewarded with a kiss on the cheek and then we went to go take our seats.

Three hours later I was back on the red carpet for don't worry darling. Flo skipped the first set of photos but she was here for this one. Dad couldn't go on the red carpet with her since he has press work for his and mums movie, so I am Flo's partner on the red carpet.

When Flo walked out onto the red carpet I stood away from the cameras for a second. She looked over next to her and expected to see me there and then I felt really bad. She walked back over to me.

"I can't go out there. It's too many cameras." I whispered to her. She waved someone over and they handed me a pair of sunglasses. "Now you'll look even cooler on the carpet and the lights won't be as bad. Just stay for a few minutes and then you can go." Flo told me and I nodded. After she had to endure this train wreck of a film the least I can do is take pictures with her.

I walked back over to the red carpet with her and we took lots of pictures together. I ended up having a lot of fun actually. Flo and I took a lot of goofy pictures and even ended up having a dance party on the red carpet. Of course the cameras never stopped but whatever.

I didn't go watch the movie with Flo cause I was not interested in watching it and also mum and dad didn't want me to because it would cut into their movie time. Flo's movie doesn't end until halfway through mum and dads movie. So I can't be at both and mum and dad want me at their movie.

After saying goodbye to Flo I took a quick power nap before sticking out the red carpet one last time. This time with mum, dad and Charlotte. "Emma! Pose with your son!" A pap shouted and mum dragged me over to her for pictures. We smiled for the camera and a bunch of people took pictures before I was sent to dad for photos.

"Family picture! Smile!" One paparazzi called out. We all smiled for the photo and suddenly Flo jumped into the picture. "Flo!" Dad shouted and gave her a hug. "(Y/n)!" Flo shouted back as they hugged. We all joined in on the hug and the paps loved it.

We took some more photos as a family with Flo before mum and dad needed to take pictures with their costars. Charlotte and I got some pictures on our own but not too many since we both were so tired.

Today was actually so crazy but I'm glad I went. I had a lot of fun supporting all the people I love.
