Emma POV:

Tonight was the circle premiere and I was spending the day getting ready. I had to go get my dress and then get my makeup done.

Michael was being clingy today and refused to do anything without me. He's only seventeen months old, he still relies on me but not as much as when he was younger. He would be fine with (Y/n) for today.

"I'll be right back! You get to stay with daddy!" I told Michael while handing him over to (Y/n). I was going to get my dress but he's not cooperating with me right now. He refuses to stay with (Y/n). "No!" Michael groaned and tried to cling onto my neck. "I will be back soon. You stay here and play with your toys." I told Michael before swiftly leaving the house. I could hear him crying from outside and even went to go back in before I snapped out of it. I can see him later, but the premiere is tonight and I need to be ready.

Picking up the dress was easy, it was fast and it didn't need any more adjustments. I had to get back home before my hairstylist and makeup artists arrive and change into the dress.

I got home and Michael was instantly back next to me. I picked him up and took him to my bedroom. He played with his Spider-Man toys on my bed while I put on my dress.

(Y/n) sent the hairstylist and makeup artists upstairs for me and I sat down by the vanity. "Okay Miss Watson, what do you want us to do?" My makeup artist asked me. "Just something simple. Some light blush and eyeshadow." I told them. My hairstylist already knew what to do so I didn't have to explain it that much.

Michael squeezed his way through the people and climbed onto my lap. I was fine with it as long as he wasn't bothering anyone or getting in the way of the stylists.

Michael was quietly playing with my rings while watching me get my makeup done. He stayed until (Y/n) took him to go eat dinner.

My makeup and hair was simple so it was finished quickly. I thanked everyone and paid them before they left. Now that I was all ready to go, I needed to make sure the boys were ready.

"You can go get ready and I'll get him ready." I told (Y/n) and got out Michael's outfit I had picked out for him.

"Arms up." I told him and slid his shirt off so I could change him into something different. I took his button up shirt and put it on him before buttoning it and putting a kids tie around his neck. It was a zipper tie so I just zipped it up for him. I took his shorts off and replaced them with dress pants. I got his shoes on him and then combed and styled his hair. I couldn't do much with his hair since it was still so soft and light. It would be impossible to style it so I just combed it out, much to Michael's displeasure.

We soon left for the venue and I had (Y/n) stay inside the venue with Michael while I took pictures. He does not like the cameras on the red carpet. We learned that the hard way during the beauty and the beast premiere.

Michael got so spooked by the cameras at the LA beauty and the beast premiere, which was about a month or two ago, that he ended up crying himself to sleep because we couldn't calm him down at all. It was a hard and scary hour for all of us. It was heartbreaking to see him like that and so scared, and the worst part was I couldn't comfort him. I tried to, I tried so hard but nothing I did worked.

I took some pictures and signed a few autographs before being called for interviews. "Hi Emma!" One journalist greeted me. "Hello!" I replied nicely. "So, are you excited to see the movie?" The journalist asked. "I am! I think it has a good meaning behind it and there's a lot to learn and take from this movie." I explained. "And is your family here?" The journalist asked and hoped for a family interview.

"(Y/n) is here with our son but they are inside. My little boy, he gets absolutely spooked and overwhelmed by the cameras and he just cannot be out here. So (Y/n)'s with him inside and they're skipping the red carpet. Otherwise it would just be a mess." I told the journalist and then something clicked in my mind. That's why he was so clingy today. He knew we were coming here for a premiere and he probably was so nervous. Now I felt bad for leaving him. "I get that, it must be a lot for him. He's little isn't he?" The journalist agreed. "Yes he is, he's about sixteen or seventeen months. He turned one in November and it's April so about five months ago." I answered.

"And is he going to get a little sibling?" The journalist asked and a sing song tone. I laughed at the question before answering. "I'm not sure. He might! (Y/n) and I haven't discussed it." I answered.

"Alright, I think that's all the time I get with you! Thank you for answering my questions!" The journalist thanked me and I said my goodbyes. I finished up with a few more interviews and went inside to the theater.

I saw Michael and (Y/n) waiting in the lobby for me and I walked over to them. "Hi!" I smiled and took Michael out of my husbands arms. "Mummy!" Michael smiled and played with the ends of my hair. He was resting on my shoulder so he had easy access to my hair. Not what I had planned for but it was comforting for him I guess. And the photo ops are over so he can play with my hair, it's not like I'm getting more red carpet pictures taken. I talked to (Y/n) about the movie before it started.

We only stayed for a bit of the movie since Michael needed to get home and go to bed. When we got home I changed him into his pajamas and put him in bed. He fell asleep in an instant and I turned off the lights and quietly closed the door.

Now that (Y/n) and I are alone we spent the rest of the night cuddling and watching tv while making out.
