(Y/n) POV:

With our first official day starting, Emma and I met up with the family for breakfast. I got an omelette with a side of hash browns and it was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. Emma of course had a bit of it as well. "That is good." She mumbled in agreement and I nodded before kissing her cheek.

Michael and Charlotte were making a tiktok for like half of breakfast and I tried to photobomb it a few times but it never worked. Sadie wasn't with us for breakfast because she needed to do a few acting deal things but Michael made sure to get her something to bring up for her.

After breakfast we all went to get ready for our snorkel trip. "Make sure to put on sunscreen dad." Michael told me before going into his room. I rolled my eyes and got changed, making sure to cover myself head to toe in sunscreen. Emma would scold me if I didn't anyway. She says I don't tan, I burn.

Once we were all ready to go we met up in the hotel lobby. Of course in true mum fashion, Emma made sure everyone had sunscreen on. We got in a taxi and drove to the pier where the boat was. The water was really beautiful and blue. It's definitely better than the LA water.

"Alright, is everyone here?" The tour guide asked and everyone nodded. "Yeah." I told him. "Perfect, we can get on our way then." They exclaimed. The boat soon left the pier and we were on our way to the snorkel sight.

"Now there are sharks in this here waters." The tour guide told us. Michael looked confused and turned to Emma. "Why did you put us in shark water? Did you not get this guy on a verified site?" He asked and everyone started laughing. "It was just a joke, baby." Sadie whispered to Michael and he looked a bit embarrassed. "Sorry for assuming you weren't a verified snorkel person." Michael apologized to the tour guide.

Once the conversation died down I looked at the ocean as we zoomed around the water. I could see the sand that's how clear the water was. There were loads of fish swimming by. When I looked back briefly I saw Charlotte and Jules holding hands but
I brushed it off. Michael was taking photos of Sadie and Emma was just doing the same thing I was.

When the boat came to a stop we were all handed snorkel gear. We all got out goggles and flippers on before the guide took a picture of all of us together.

I got in the water first and started swimming around and seeing all of the cool fish around me. And the reef was pretty cool too. Emma and I stayed together and pointed out different fish we saw.

After a long hour of snorkeling we returned to the hotel. Most people wanted to sleep so Charlotte and I explored the hotel while everyone else took a nap. We walked around the pool and the beach before we stumbled upon a pool bar. We ordered some smoothies and got them charged to the room before we continued our walk.

Eventually we had to split up to get ready for dinner. Tonight we were going to a sushi place but you order it from an iPad at your table and when it's ready it comes down a conveyor belt right to your table.

We got to dinner and sat down at a booth in the corner of the restaurant. It still has the conveyor belt but it was a little bit away from the crowd. We ordered our food and drinks on the iPad before settling into the table.

"What were your meetings about this morning?" I asked Sadie. "Just finalizing things. I was supposed to go to LA but then I ended up staying up in Stanford longer than expected and we had to reschedule. This was the only day we could do it." Sadie responded and side eyed Michael. "What? You wanted to stay. You said you liked my campus apartment." Michael defended. I quickly switched the conversation since I don't need to know the real reason why Sadie stayed in Michael's apartment. I'm sure it's a coupley thing.

We talked about our snorkeling for a little bit and then the conversation died down. I was about to say something after a few minutes but Charlotte cut me off.

"Jules and I are dating!" Charlotte announced and everyone went quiet. Michael and Sadie seemed to have already knew based on their reactions. "Okay." I mumbled because now I don't know what to say. Charlotte looked a bit worried before I spoke up again. "Now Jules, you know I have to give you the don't hurt my daughter speech! I like you, I don't want to do it! But now I have to." I decided. Charlotte smiled and laughed while Jules seemed to be equally as happy. "I'm proud of you!" Emma exclaimed. We all cheersed our drinks and got all the details about Charlotte and Jules' relationship.

"We started dating like six months ago. Jules had come out already but we didn't say anything cause I wasn't ready to. I told Michael that I liked her before that but then he caught us a few months later." Charlotte explained. She continued to tell us about her relationship for the rest of the night. I couldn't be more proud of her.
