(Y/n) POV:
"How are you feeling?" I asked Michael while he was getting ready. "Nervous." He mumbled while redoing his time for like the fifth time. "Don't worry, she's not gonna leave." I reassured him. "What if I forget my vows?" He asked. "You have them written down, but if you get up there and you don't remember, just speak from your heart." I advised him. He nodded and gave me a hug.
"This is probably going to be the best day of your life." I told my son. "I know." Michael agreed. We walked out of the room and went to the altar. Michael made conversation with his groomsmen and some of the guests while going over his flash cards. Emma and Charlotte were with Sadie and helping her get ready.
While Michael was just nervously standing at the altar I sat down in the front row. Maybe five minutes later the music started playing and everyone stood up. Michael's attention turned to the entrance of the hall and watched as all the bridesmaids walked down the aisle. Michael sent a wave to Charlotte while she was walking down the aisle and she waved back.
Emma was sitting next to me and rested her head on my shoulder. I placed my hand on top of hers and we watched the ceremony. "I miss when he was a little baby." Emma whispered. "I know, I do too. But I'm proud of him." I agreed. "Me too." Emma sighed.
Michael POV:
While all the bridesmaids walked down the aisle I kept my eyes glued to the entrance. I can't believe this is actually happening. This is crazy. I'm actually getting married.
Eventually I saw Sadie walk into the room with her dad arm in arm. I instantly felt the smile appear on my face as they walked down towards me. When they arrived Sadie's dad gave her a kiss on the cheek and let her walk up. "You better take good care of her." Sadie's dad warned me. "I promise." I reassured.
"Hi." I whispered to Sadie. "Hi." She whispered back and smiled at me. "You look really, really beautiful." I whispered to her. "You look very handsome." She complimented.
The officiant did his boring priest talk and all of that before he had us say our vows. "When I was in high school I didn't think I'd find the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with until I met you. I was a bit nervous to talk to you but thankfully Charlotte gave me a push in the right direction, literally. I don't know what I would've done if you weren't in my corner for all those years, and I don't know what I would do if I didn't have you right now. I love how you always have my back and speak up for what you think is right. I admire your passion, your determination, and most importantly, your kindness. You inspire me to be my best self, and with you I feel like I am my best self. I promise to never stop loving you, to take care of you, and to be my best self for you." I spoke, not breaking eye contact with Sadie once.
Everyone clapped after my speech and I smiled at Sadie, who looked like she was about to cry. "Don't cry!" I exclaimed and gave her a hug. I kinda tower over her but she's wearing heels so it helps. "I'm not." She laughed.
"Michael, I can't remember a time where I didn't have you by my side. You always came to visit me in Atlanta when I was filming, and you were always ready to fight people on twitter if they weren't being nice to me. I love how determined you are when you're passionate about something, from hitting a home run to cooking me my favorite meal after a long day. I love how kind and caring you can be to me, our friends, and any animal you encounter. I'm ready for the adventures we will face together and I'm excited to be doing all of this as your wife. I promise to always love you and to always be on your side." Sadie spoke. Now it was my turn to almost cry.
We both were just standing there laughing and trying not to cry. "Do you, Michael Christopher Watson-(L/n), take Sadie Elizabeth Sink, to be your wedded wife, to live together in marriage? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, and forsaking all others, be faithful only to her, for as long as you both shall live?" The officiant asked. "I do." I confirmed.
"And do you, Sadie Elizabeth Sink, take Michael Christopher Watson-(L/n), to be your wedded husband, to live together in marriage? Do you promise to to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him for better or worse, for richer and poorer, in sickness and health, and forsaking all others, to be faithful only to him for as long as you both shall live?" The officiant asked Sadie. "I do." Sadie responded. "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." The officiant declared and I smashed my lips onto Sadie's. Everyone cheered as we kissed and it was as if time stopped.
When we pulled apart Sadie smiled at me and rested her head on my chest. "Don't get all sleepy now, we have to go party!" I told her. "I know, you're my husband now." She pointed out. "I am, now you can't get rid of me." I joked. "I wouldn't ever want to." She added.
We left the altar and got into the car that was taking us to the reception. When we got to the reception Sadie decided go change into a different dress and I waited for her outside. "I'm ready." She announced and came out into the room. "You look gorgeous." I complimented and gave her a kiss.
We got to the party and I met up with my parents while Sadie talked to her brothers. "I'm so proud of you!" Mum squealed while giving me a really tight hug. "Thanks." I mumbled and hugged her back. "I can't believe you're married." Charlotte pointed out. "Well you'll just have to be reminded every once in a while." I teased before being crushed in a hug by Aunt Flo. We had to go take wedding photos for a while before eating dinner.
After twenty minutes of talking to Millie and Ben I reunited with my wife. Crazy to say that but a good crazy. We ate some dinner and then got right to dancing. I got to dance with Noah, Ben, Daniel and Millie. We made up a dance to perform. I did a whole lot of dancing with Sadie of course. Charlotte took a lot of pictures of Sadie and I and sent them to us. Maybe I'll post a few of them. They're cute.
"We should get married more often." I told Sadie as we slow danced to a Beatles song. "But then we would have to divorce to get married again." She pointed out. "Oh. Then let's not." I mumbled.
Eventually the party died down and it got pretty late. Most of the guests had left and Sadie and I were getting ready to leave. I caught her taking a picture of her engagement and wedding ring on her finger and posting it onto her instagram story. Once we got our wedding photos I'm sure a few of them would be on her instagram. As much as we keep our relationship private, we gotta let everyone know Sadie is mine for good now.
"Ready to go?" I asked and wrapped my arms around her from behind. "Yeah." She nodded and gave me a kiss. "I love you." I mumbled. "I love you too." She mumbled back and kissed my cheek.
We got in the car and left the venue, starting our next journey as husband and wife.
