Emma Watson Oneshots Book Four

Vacation (4)

(Y/n) POV:

Today was just a chill day at the hotel. We all slept in and got some much needed rest. When we started our day we had a wonderful breakfast and then decided to go to the pool and beach that the hotel has.

Emma, Flo I were at the pool while Michael and Charlotte were with their girlfriends at the beach. "Do you think it's too early for a drink?" Flo asked Emma and I while we sat by the pool. "Maybe wait like an hour. It's only eleven." I told her and she nodded. Emma was too deep in her book to even hear us. I rested my head on top of her head and looked down at her book.

Emma and I spent some time in the pool together my and having a splash fight before we were ready to dry off. I wonder how everyone else is doing.

Michael POV:

I was at the beach with Charlotte, Jules and Sadie. We found a few surfboards lying around and decided to give them a try.

"This is fun!" I shouted to Charlotte who was next to me. "I know! But we're so bad at it!" She shouted back. I tried standing up on it when the next wave appeared and I got the hang of it.

"Go Michael!" Sadie shouted from the shore. "Woah!" Charlotte gasped once she saw me. I saw Sadie with her phone pointed at me so I did a cool surf pose.

When I got to the shore I decided to take a quick break and sit in the sun for a bit. I sat down in the sand and watched Jules and Charlotte attempt to surf. They were okay at it, not horrible but not great.

We all went to go get lunch from the little grill nearby and we got to sit by an air conditioner. We could see the beach and a bit of the pool from where we were.

Charlotte and I got burgers while Jules had a chicken sandwich and Sadie got a salad. Probably shouldn't have chosen to eat at a grill when she's vegan. My bad.

After our lunch we met up with mum and dad at the pool. "Wanna go for a dip?" I asked Sadie. "Sure." She nodded and we both got in the water. After a few minutes of treading water I made a move and splashed her with a bit of water. "Hey!" She gasped and splashed water back at me. A splash fight ensued and I honestly don't know who won. "Truce!" I called out and put my hands up. "Fine." Sadie agreed and we stopped splashing each other. Now we were just having swimming races.

Eventually after a few more hours everyone was tired and ready to go to our rooms. When I got to my room the first thing I did was take a shower and then take a nap.

When it was time for dinner we all put on semi formal clothes and went to the sushi place again. Dad wanted to go there again so we did. He wanted to take Aunt Flo so she could see it.

"You're right, This is cool!" Flo announced when her food came on the conveyor belt. I was sharing a plate of California rolls with Charlotte and we each had like half the plate. Sadie was on my other side but she was really tired. She was just resting on me. "Do you want me to get you something vegan? I'll check if they have a vegan menu." I offered and she shook her head. "It's okay, I'm really not that hungry." She declined. I nodded and continued to eat my food while holding Sadie's hand.

Mum and dad were off in their own little world. They kept giggling at each other and kissing when they think nobody's watching. They aren't slick, we all see it. But it's Dad's birthday so I won't complain about it.

When dinner was over we bought a cake and took it back to the hotel. "Happy birthday dad!" I shouted and gave him a hug. "Thanks." Dad mumbled. We sang him the birthday song before he blew out his candles and we cut the cake. It was actually super good.

When we finished our cake it was time for bed. Everyone was super tired so we just went back to our rooms and got as much sleep as we could. Today was actually a super fun day.
