Emma Watson Oneshots Book Four

Top Gun

(Y/n) POV:

Today might be the best day of my life. I'm actually flying a fighter plane! Well it's for the top gun movie but still!

"This is awesome!" I shouted as I flew around. "I can't watch this." Emma groaned. I could hear her through my headset. "I can't believe this is happening. It took six months but finally I can fly this all by myself!" I screamed.

"Okay (Y/n), make a right up ahead and then meet the other planes there." The director told me. "You got it." I responded and flew my way there.

"Oh my god." Emma whispered. "Em, calm down. I can hear you, you know!" I told her. "It's scary!" She argued.

"Okay, all of you are gonna fly straight, take a right at the mountain, and then (Y/n) is gonna stay at the bottom while you all fly above him." The director guided us. "Action!" He called out. I flew straight ahead until I reached the mountain and took a right. I continued staying straight while I heard the engines of fighter planes go above me.

"Cut! Let's try that again!" The director told us. We went back to where we started and then repeated the instructions. The entire time I could hear Emma freaking out over the fighter planes. I know she's protective but jeez. I literally passed a test to fly this plane and did one hundred plus hours of training. I'm plenty qualified.

This was gonna be a long day. Because we weren't getting out of the planed until it got dark out. We need to finish these scenes as soon as we can.

The entire time I flew Emma stayed right on the ground with her headset on and watched my plane like a hawk. And I didn't expect any less, I know she's just scared. I would be too if it was her flying this plane.

"I love you Em." I told her through the headset. "Love you too (Y/n)." She responded happily. I'm glad I have someone like her to support me.
