Michael POV:
After I got off of work for the day I met up with Sadie at the apartment she wanted to look at. The realtor was there too and we all exchanged hellos before going inside.

"So this apartment has three bedrooms and four bathrooms." The realtor explained to us as we walked around the living room/kitchen. They were separated by an island counter. I'm gonna be honest I don't love it so far.

We walked around the kitchen and then went into the bedrooms. "Each bedroom has a bathroom built into it." The realtor told us. I looked at Sadie, who also didn't seem to love it. After another twenty minutes of looking around we ended the tour and crossed that one off our list.

"I didn't like it. The pictures looked much better than in person." I told Sadie. "Yeah, I didn't love it." She agreed. "Would you prefer to stay in California or move to a different state?" I asked. "I don't know. We have a lot of important things here. Your family, your job, and some parts of my job. But I don't like California that much. I hate having paparazzi everywhere I go." Sadie explained. "We can go wherever you want to go." I told her.

"Let's look into New York." Sadie decided. "Alright." I nodded. "I'll call Charlotte. She goes to NYU so she's in the city. She'll know some stuff." Sadie explained to me.

Later that night Sadie and I were on Zillow looking for some apartments. A lot of them were expensive but we were able to find a few big ones for a not so expensive price. We wrote those down and then made plans to go up to NYC and check them out. We had to wait about a week but it was fine. I needed to get time off of work before we could go.

The week went by pretty fast and soon we were in NYC checking out some apartments. "We're so close to central park." I announced when we arrived at the first apartment. This one was okay, it was pretty and it had enough room, but it wasn't the one for us.

Our next apartment was right by Times Square, which might be a little too busy for us. The apartment was overall very nice, but a little too small. It was the same size as our apartment now.

The third one was also by Central Park, but was on the other side of the park then the first apartment. "I love this one." I commented as we walked around. It had an amazing view, more then enough space, and it had a pool and gym in the building. "This one is amazing." Sadie agreed. "Do you want to put an offer on it?" The realtor asked and Sadie and I looked at each other before nodding.

Sadie and I talked about the offer with the realtor for like an hour before we had finished up. "I will let you know when I hear from the owners." The realtor told us and we nodded. "Thank you." I told them and shook their hand. Sadie did the same and soon we were off to do some exploring, and go to a broadway show while we were here.

"I definitely missed this part of New York." Sadie sighed when we walked in. "Well we're here now." I told her and wrapped my arm around her shoulder.

We took our seats in the theatre and waited for the show to start. We were going to see Wicked. I was responding to a work email when the lights started to dim so I turned my phone off and waited for the show to start. I took Sadie's hand and held it while the characters appeared on stage.

After the show I was almost asleep. It was nearing midnight so I was getting pretty tired. Sadie can't stay up past eleven either so we were both ready to get some sleep at the hotel.

The next morning I woke up at around eight. I waited for Sadie to wake up before going to get some bagels. While I was walking to the bagel shop, I got an email from the realtor saying the owners of the apartment accepted our offer. So now the apartment is ours after we fill out paperwork! I picked up the bagels and ran back to the hotel to tell Sadie.

"Good...news." I panted when I walked through the door. "Did you run all the way back here?" She asked and got me some water. "The realtor...said...they accept our offer." I panted and fell on the bed. "Really?!" She asked. "Yeah!" I mumbled. We made plans to get the paperwork later today and hopefully have it filled out by tonight. Then all we had to do was sell the LA apartment and I had to get a new job. And tell my parents, that might be a sad conversation.
