Emma Watson Oneshots Book Four

(Y/n) POV:

Tonight Flo was watching Michael while Emma and I went out to dinner with Bonnie and Dan. We were going to a new sushi restaurant that we all wanted to try.

"So, do we all want fried rice?" I asked and looked at the menu. Everyone agreed to split fried rice and edamame as an appetizer. For the real meal we all ordered the deluxe sushi plate which has more than enough for everyone.

While Dan and I were talking about his new movie I got a text from Flo that read 'Michael is awake and won't go back to sleep.' I texted her to let him watch a few minutes of Spider-Man and then he will tire himself out. I told Emma about it and she agreed too. "I figured he was going to wake up, he hasn't been sleeping through the night these days." Emma whispered to me. "He's two, he probably woke up and wanted us, but he'll be fine." I added.

We continued on with our meal and I had a bit more wine. Dan and I were trying to discreetly throw edamame in each other's mouths but we didn't want any of the wait staff to see us being so immature. "Three in a row!" Dan cheered after I caught a third piece of edamame. "Let's go for five." I told him and he got ready to throw another one. I caught the other one and Dan and I cheered. "One more." I told him and got ready to catch it. Dan threw the tiny piece and I just caught it. "Okay, let's not do that anymore." Emma told me and I nodded.

I got another text from Flo saying that Michael was watching Spider-Man and running around the house. I gave her the thumbs up emoji cause if he's running around he'll get tired pretty fast.

After about an hour we finished up dinner. I hadn't gotten a text from Flo so I assumed everything was fine. When we got home Flo and Michael were on the sofa. Michael was wide awake and playing with his toys.

"Come on Michael, time for bed." Emma told him, picking him up and carrying him upstairs. Flo and I could hear him crying and saying he didn't want to go to bed yet. "You're tired, it's so late." Emma told him and then we heard a door close.

"So how was it?" Flo asked me. "Good. I brought you back some." I told her and handed her some leftover sushi in a box. "Thanks!" She responded and opened the box. While Flo was eating her sushi I went upstairs to check on Michael and Emma.

Emma was sitting with Michael in his room trying to calm him down. "You're so tired, you need to go to sleep." Emma told him while bouncing him up and down. I could see him slightly calming down and kissed his cheek before giving Emma a kiss too.

I went back downstairs to see Flo and we just talked about her upcoming movies. Eventually she left and went to her house before I went upstairs and went to bed.
