Blue

Set after Crystallized (contains Seabound spoilers)

Chores. We've all been there before right? And the ninjas are not excused from this tiring routine. Not under Master Wu's watch. Every week they take turns with the jobs and this week Nya's doing the sorting and sweeping. Lately, Master Wu noticed a lot of unused junk around the monastery. Thus, along with the usual chores he added some sorting for the ninjas to do. Kai and Cole will be sorting the gaming room,  Lloyd and Zane will be sorting the underground base and Jay and Nya will be sorting the bedroom. Which is why Nya found herself opening a very dusty drawer.

COUGH COUGH

Nya fanned the dust away from her face. "When's the last time we used this thing."

"Dunno. A year maybe?" Jay replied, folding a couple of old blankets.

"Okay, let's see. There's not much thing here. Kai action figure, a magazine, some Steeper Wisdom flyer and ooh what's this?" Nya pulled out a folded piece of paper and unfold it.

"What's that?" Jay asked as he spotted the piece of paper Nya's holding.

"I don't know. I think it's a poem or something with the title blue-" Before Nya can finish her sentence, Jay sprinted over towards Nya and snatch the paper away from her. "What's that?"

"Nothing! Nothing." 

"Jay, what's in that paper?" Nya tried to reach the paper but Jay keep raising it higher and higher.

"Nothing!" Jay fake laughed.

Nya stared at Jay and tried to grab the paper. "Give it." Nya hissed.

"No way shorty." Jay laughed as he stand on tiptoes.

"I hate my height." Nya grumbled. "Give it Walker or you'll wish you did!"

"Never shorty!" Jay chuckled.

"Alrighty then." Nya pounced on Jay and pushed him backward towards the bed behind him. She lay on top of Jay, forcing him down. She pinned Jay's wrist down and snatched the paper away from him. "I win." She stuck her tongue out."Alright, I give up." Jay sighed in defeat. "Also, you're lightweight."

"Oh goodness!" Nya jumped back up as soon she realised she's on top of him. "I'm sorry Jay, am I too heavy?"

"Like I said, light as a feather shorty." Jay sat up and winked. "Also can you give it back? It's embarrassing."

"Don't call me shorty and I'll give it."

"Alright, alright. I promise." 

Nya handed Jay the paper as promised. "What's in it anyway? Also nothing is not an option."

"It's just some cringe poem that I wrote." Jay mumbled.

"YOU CAN WRITE POEM?!" Nya Exclaimed.

"Yeah, sort of. But it's way too cringe." 

"When did you wrote it?"

"Sometime after you sacrificed yourself and merged with the sea. The poem's about you actually."

"Can you read it, please?? I promise I won't judge." Nya plead.

"Ngg...alright, fine." Jay sighed. Nya sat down beside him on the bed and he began to read the following:

Blue

Oh blue,

Where are you?

I need you,

I miss you,

And I love you.

Oh blue,

My heart is filled with sorrow.

I keep on wishing you'll be back tomorrow,

Only to be striked by monday blues.

Oh blue,

Your sacrifice is oh so gallant

Although it pains me to see you go

I know this is an important step you must go

Oh blue,

Ever since I saw you on the roof,

I can't help but recall,

That moment before you fall,

When your dreamy eyes shined the brightest hue.

I have fallen hard for you,

And I can't live without you.

But according to fate,

I admit it too late.

Oh blue,

Where are you?

I miss you,

I need you,

And I love you.

"So...how was it? Pretty bad ain't it?" Jay asked.

"It's beautiful." Nya wiped a tear off her eye. She hugged Jay tightly on the waist. "You're the sweetest guy ever Jay. I'm lucky to have you."

"And I'm lucky to have you back Nya." Jay pecked Nya on the forehead.

So I hope you liked my poem (it's last minute) and also I don't know what to do with the prompt blue so I just...go with whatever my head says. This'll also be my last entry for Jaya Week and yeah.
