Little Do You Know

Set in the middle of Skybound, The Last Resort. Inspired by the song Little Do You Know by Alex and Sierra.

"Keep this close," Nya handed Jay the venom. "I transferred the poison into the dart. You may only have one shot at him, so use it wisely."

"Thanks," Jay pocketed the venom. "And I want you to have this." Jay handed Nya the blue ceramic teapot filled with Traveller's Tea. Nya grabbed the teapot and sling it around her. "If anything happens to me, use the Traveller's Tea to get yourself out of here. He's convinced he's going to marry you. If that happens, nothing can stop him. But don't worry. After I used my last wish to stop his plans, we'll be safe and sound and things between us will be fine again." Jay jumped excitedly.

"Yeah, fine." Nya face away from him and walked towards a window behind. 

"Uh...you're upset. What did I say?" Jay asked, concerned.

"It's nothing you said i-it's something else. Ever since the love triangle incident I've been quite wary about relationship stuffs. That's why I never accepted all those advances you made. I'm afraid if I accept it, we might break up again in future. I know it's ridiculous but it's the truth."

"Nya I-I never knew you felt this way." 

Nya sighed. "There's a lot you don't know about me. I believe you when you said we'll end up together just not now alright? I'm not ready yet. I need some time to think and recover from all the traumas." Nya slides down the wall and pull her knee close to her chest. "'Till then, will you wait for me?"

Jay smiled and walked over towards Nya. He slides down the wall and pat her hand. "Of course I'll wait for you Nya. And 'till you're ready, my love for you will stay the same and always will. And I'm a man of my words. So friends?" 

Nya smiled at Jay's acceptance. "Good friends." She leaned on Jay's shoulder. 

It'll be hard for Jay to stop his advances to Nya but he has to respect her choices and her readiness. And whenever Nya's ready for it, he'll be there. He'll be there as a hand to hold. And when she hold his hand, he promised he'll never let it go, not even a bit loose. And like he said, he's a man of his words.
