Beach Trip

Finally, after days and nights of pleading Master Wu, the ninjas finally got what they deserved. A week of summer break. I know it's not much but still a week off is better than the usual day off. The ninjas did their usual hobbies to fill in the week. Play video games, taking a dip in the hot tub (more like an ancient bell but eh whatever), read the latest issue of Starfarer and much more. Today they aren't feeling lazy much. They planned a little beach trip by the seaside.

Once they arrived at the beach they immediately breathe in the fresh sea air and sink their foot into the warm sand below. They've prepared a lot of activities for today. A round of volley, sandcastle building competition, jetski and free time. 

"So, what do you think of the seaside?" Nya walked over to Jay's side. 

"Pretty cool." Jay stretched his arms forward. "Volley?"

"Sure, why not?" Nya shrugged.

The ninjas separated themselves into two teams and started throwing the ball as high as they could. Being ninjas, they used their full strength to return the attacks. Which is why, it doesn't take a long time until the ball is dirty and beaten. Thus, the ninjas moved on to their next activity, sandcastle building competition and jetski. Both Jay and Nya wanted to try the jetski first so they leave the others and picked a good jetski to ride.

"Are jetski hard to control?" Jay climbed on.

"Dunno. But if you can drive a fighter jet well at first try, how's this going to be any harder?" Nya climbed on behind him.

"Well driving in the air's different. If I fell I can cyclondo my way to the ground. This however is water. I'm not going to let history repeat itself." Jay gulped as he recalled that time when his lungs is filled with water. That was a one painful memory.

"Don't worry," Nya hugged Jay from behind. "I'm the master of water remember? I can fish you out."

"Alright. Here we go." Jay sighed before starting the engine. As expected, the jetski zoomed forward spurting bursts of water towards the two riders.

"WOOHOO! Isn't this fun?!" Nya stick out her tongue to get some of the splattering water. "Hmmm, salty."

Jay can only laugh at his girlfriends antics. They circled the area a couple more times before returning back to solid ground. While the rest of the ninjas try out the jetski, the two sat down on the warm sand and unwind. While watching the others make fun of themselves of course.

"No. No, no, no, no! I will not get on this thing." Kai shakes his head.

"Come on Kai. It's fun!" Cole plea. 

"Kai, stop being a scaredy cat and just hop on. It's not like you're gonna fall." Nya pushed him towards the jetski. Spoiler alert, he fell and he's still complaining about how flat his hair is.

The ninjas spent some more time at the beach until sundown. The sky turn a beautiful mix of orange, purple and yellow and the sun is only half seen. Jay and Nya breathe in the fresh sea air while soaking their feet with the upcoming waves. 

"I love today!" Nya smiled.

"Me too. Too bad today's the last of our week off though." Jay sighed.

"Then why don't we make the best of it." Nya stood up and walked towards the sea. "Wanna join?"

"I guess." Jay stood up and splatter a burst of water towards his yang.

"Is that all you can do?" Nya made 5 water bombs in the air. 

"Right. I forgot you're the master of water." Jay gulped.

"But you're the master of lightning. You can run right?" 

"I guess."

"The use it." Nya shoot on of the water bombs towards him. The two kept repeating the activity. Jay running around the beach with his super speed and Nya throwing a bunch of water blobs at him. Finally they both dropped down out of exhaustion.

"I never knew the master of lightning can get tired. I thought you can recharge yourself." Nya laughed and ruffled Jay's fluffy auburn hair.

"Then I guess I'm not the master of lightning then. But the master of your heart." Jay leaned in for a kiss which Nya accepted of course. They rarely had moments like this before so of course they had to cherish it before it's gone.

"I love you Nya." Jay smiled after they pulled away from each other, breathless.

"I love you too Jay."
