The Breaking Point Part 2

"The greatest love stories, do always end in tragedy." Jay muttered.

"JAY, WAIT!" Nya finally managed to grab his wrist. "Please, listen to me. I want you to remember all of those memories of us together. From when we first met until this very minute. I want you to remember all of them and think. Do you really want to leave them behind?"

Jay paused as he recall all of their memories. First, their first meeting. He can vividly picture Nya on top of a fire dragon towering above him as he's lost for words. He doesn't even know what to say. Thus, he uttered the first question that popped into his mind.

"'oo you like blue?" He croaked.

"He cannot talk but he wants to know if you like blue." Zane kindly translated to Nya.

"It's my favorite color." Nya replied.

"Yes!" Jay muttered excitedly.

Then, there's their first date. He's surprisedthat even though he's half a snake  because of some stupid accident, Nya still loves him the same way. After that, there's the encounter with Nadakhan, a love struck djinn who forces Nya to marry him so he can get infinite wishes. Luckily, Jay uses his last wish wisely and can both save Ninjago and Nya.

Next, there's a vivid image of him asking Nya to be his yang not so long time ago. He was – of course – very, very nervous and doubt that Nya will ever say yes. Luckily she did. Some more memories pass by in front of him like a blur. Their dance rehearsal, times spent at the arcade, her sacrifice in Prime Empire and...

"Don't leave me...I-I love you."

Her latest sacrifice. Her merging with The Endless Sea. It tore his heart so much to see her go away once again without him being able to even say goodbye. One year without seeing Nya really forces Jay to go into his breaking point faster than anyone - even himself - expected. 

"Are you sure you want to leave all of those behind?" Nya repeated, breaking his thoughts.

The memories whirl again in his head.

"I named it after us. Jay + Nya = Jaya"

"A gentleman will never let a lady row."

"It's my favorite colour."

"Whatever happens, you are the best you."

"Are you sure you want to stop all of them? After all we've been through? If you still want to then it's fine. I won't push. Just, find someone else when I'm gone okay? I don't want you alone. I love you Jay." Nya uttered before her grip weakens, her eyes goes blurry and she fell down on the hard wooden planks.

Nya's eyes opened a tiny slit. All she can see is a blinding, white light. She managed to raise her hand and wipe her eyes to clear her vision. She glanced around her, scanning the area. To her surprise, she's in a hospital room. A nearby door opened and Jay entered the room. He pulled a chair and sat nearby her bed.

"Hi Nya. Feeling better now?" He greets.

"Yeah, sort of." Nya adjusted her sleeping position, trying hard not to pull out any of the wires attached to her. "So, I see you've changed your mind. What moves you?"

"Well, your idea kinda works. I realized that all of these good times we had are alike medicine to cure the bad ones. Or at least sweetened them. Besides I do remember the promise I made at the alternate timeline. I promise I'm gonna protect you and I'm a man of my words." Jay promised as she rubbed Nya's hands. "I love you Nya."

"I love you more Sparky."
