The first week at Cousin's had passed, the longest week I've ever had at Cousins's. It felt like a lift time. Usually it would be good thing, I would hate when the summer went by quickly.

I got out of bed as I head downstairs grabbing some coffee as Belly sat at the kitchen island. "Hey." I say grabbing her attention as I turn the coffee machine on.

"Hey." She smiles back awkwardly shoving cereal into her mouth. "Look I didn't want to bring this up-"

"Then don't." I cut her off coldly focusing on my cup filling up with coffee. "You're creepy Chris's girlfriend, how can I not bring it up?!" She shouts throwing her hands into the air. I shush her as I walk over to her telling her to keep her voice down.

"I was never Chris's girlfriend Belly, it's just... complicated, you wouldn't understand." I shake my head. "Can we not argue about this please, I'm never seeing that weirdo again okay, I promise." I look into her eyes, she let a big sigh before rolling her eyes.

"Fine, besides I can't stay mad at you for long." She smiles as I boop her nose quickly as she scrunches it. "Morning." Jeremiah walks in heading straight for the cereal, looking like he was barely awake.

"Good morning." Belly sings, only making Jeremiah look even more upset, knowing it was Conrad who caused the good mood. "What's with the good mood?" He still asks, like he wanted to fuel his hurt.

"I'm just in a good mood." She blushes, pinning her hair behind her ears. Steven was next to walk in, he started to talk Jeremiah about him and Shayla.

"Just ask her to be your girlfriend ass hat." I say as he shoots me a glare. "Not yet it's only been a week." He shakes his head as I shrug leaving the conversation. "Hey Jere wanna go to the beach today?" I ask him interrupting the boys conversation.

"Oh wow me and belly, your sister and twin aren't even invited." Steven pretends to be offended, but he wasn't he was just being annoying for the sake of it.

"Fine you can come Jeez." Steven smiles to Jeremiah liking the fact he was annoying me. I wash up my plate as I leave the room, about to head to my room but i see Conrad walk down the stairs and I slow down my pace waiting for him to walk past me.

"How was your date?" He asks bluntly rubbing his eyes. "How was surfing?" I raise my eyebrows giving him the same energy back. "We're going to the beach today, if you want to come." I offer as he takes a seconds to respond. "Sure why not."

And there it was, back to blunt, closed off Conrad. After everything we had just gone through I thought we had a friendship, obviously not.

I head upstairs getting ready for the beach putting on a bikini and throwing my hair up into a pony tail. I head back downstairs where Jeremiah sits waiting for everybody else. "Hey smelly Ellie." He notices me as I sit down next to him on the couch, placing my head on his shoulder.

"I saw you last night, at your window." I bring up. I knew he wouldn't mind me bringing it up, me and Jeremiah told each other everything and were never ashamed or embarrassed. That's what I loved about him being my best friend.

"I think I'm a good guy El, and I just wonder how someone like Conrad can do nothing and get my dream girl." It broke my heart hearing him say that, Jeremiah was always the sweetheart and him questioning his own personality because of it was gut wrenching.

"You're the perfect guy Jer, Belly will see it." I reassure him as he takes a deep breath resting his head on top of mine. "So you're Creepy Chris's girlfriend I heard?" He brings up, trying to hold his laugh.

"Definitely not." I laugh as he takes that and laughs as well. "Why were you at the window then?" There was a million ways to answer this question, I could lie and say I just was shutting the curtains, or checking on Belly. But as I said Jeremiah would never judge me.

"The same reason you were." He doesn't say anything and instead grabs my hands holding them tight. I'm glad I had someone who knew that pain, the twang of jealousy that went through my heart last night. But the only difference was, Jere was in love with Belly. He just hid it a lot better than most.

The way his eyes would turn sad when he looked to Belly laughing over something Conrad would say. Him getting annoyed over belly and cam Cameron kissing. Leaving the room when Belly would get too exited about seeing Conrad. You wouldn't notice it unless you added it all up.

"Come on, we need to stop being sad idiots!" I shout lifting my head off of his shoulder turning to him. "After the beach me and you are going to Shayla's boat party, and we're are going to have the best time!" He raised his eyebrows smiling at the idea.

"You know I can't turn down a boat party El." He rolls his eyes as I clap my hands taking that as a clear yes. "You losers ready or what?!" Steven glides in holding his towel as Conrad and Belly follow along.

We all race down to the beach setting up our stuff and diving into the ocean. "So Belly, your birthdays next week, you exited?" Jeremiah asks as we head to shore. "Yeah, Taylor's going to come down and mum said we can have a BBQ."

"A BBQ for your sixteenth? No, we're having a party." Steven demands. "Like mum would let us have a party." She rolls her eyes as Steven thinks for a second. "Nicole has a free house next Saturday, so we can still have the BBQ on your birthday." He suggests as Belly thinks for a second. "Sure." She shrugs as we move along with the conversation.

"So el what's this about you being Chris's girlfriend?" Steven, the third person to bring it up today asks. "I'm not his girlfriend, I just had to help him with something." I shake my head looking to Conrad who looked out to the ocean.

"Yeah help him down there." Jeremiah points to his dick with both hands as we all grimace. "Ew dude that's my sister chill." Steven says with annoyance. Steven was a jokester, he was always first to make jokes about me and Belly except when it came to sexual jokes, he hated it.

"I'm going in, I'll see you guys later." Conrad stands up abruptly. I needed to talk to him, today Conrad had barely spoke to me and I would've thought after the other night we would have got closer.

"Yeah I'm going to walk back too." I jump up as Conrad turns to look at me, but turns back around walking not saying anything.

We walk in silence for a bit, I try to find a good conversation starter but everything I came up with seemed too awkward or too weird.

"So we're you Chris's girlfriend or not? Because when he said it you didn't deny it." Before I could say anything Conrad speaks. Questioning what happened with me and Chris.

"Technically." I squint my eyes as he looks away. "You're either together or not, nothing technical about it." He spits picking up his pace.

"Chris knew we were at the motel Conrad." I speak up as he stops walking turning around slowly. "He threatened to tell everyone and even said he would get CCTV of us walking out the motel room, even though we didn't do anything. It would look like we did."

"So in return for him not saying anything, I had to be his girlfriend, but we never kissed and nothing romantic happened."

"But then he told me there was no CCTV and he was lying so I told him we weren't together." It was good to be honest with Conrad, get it off my chest and finally tell someone the truth.

"So what if people thought we were in a motel room?" I look up as he smiles a tiny bit, his hands shoved in his pockets. "I didn't want to give them the wrong impression." I furrow my eyebrows stating the obvious.

"Let them." He shrugs turning back around. Did he want people to know we were in a motel room together? Why was he so annoyed over me and Chris and suddenly smile when I said it was fake?

I smile a little as I finally figure it out, Conrad was jealous too.
