"Dinner!" Susanna sung to the top of the stairs. I had fell asleep on my bed. I get up sorting out my hair and dress before heading downstairs and to the dining table where my mum and Susanna sat, both of them at the head of the table.

"Wow Susanna this looks delicious." There was array of different food. A bowl of Caesar salad, a bowl of chicken and cream pasta, roasted vegetables and then array of seafood served on a platter.

"Come sit." I take my seat and shortly after Jeremiah and belly follow, laughing as they hold hands. "Uh when did this happen?" My mum says with shock. "Mum no please don't make this a big thing." Belly shakes her head as both of them sit next to me, Jeremiah in the middle.

"Where's your brother?" Jeremiah asks me as I shrug. "With Shayla." I wiggle my eyebrows while pouring water for everyone. "Mum present." She says with a face of Digust. "Oh come on laurel all of them are love, it's sweet." On cue Steven and Shayla walk down the stairs together and join us.

"Where's connie?" Susanna asks. Was he not coming down for dinner? Was it because I was here? But I was wrong he walks down the stairs and joins us, of course having to sit opposite me. I give Shayla a look as she giggles a little.

"Ok before we eat-" Susanna starts as our mum bats Steven's hand away from the food, Susanna usually did a toast at the end of summer but this was earlier than usual. "I just want to say what an amazing summer I've had, these few weeks a year are my favourite spent with my family in our house. Laurel for being my rock, I wouldn't function without you by my side. Steven for becoming such a gentleman and bringing this sunshine into our lives." She says referring to Shayla.

"Belly and Ellie, I'm so proud of you guys not just for the Deb ball but for being such amazing versions of yourselves. Lastly my boys, you hold yourselves with grace, I know life can get hard but I could not be prouder of my babies. So cheers to cousins." She holds her glass of champagne In the air as we all cheers.

"Oh before we eat I forgot, Ellie threw out a birthday present of hers." Steven gets up. "Steven no." I stand up following um as he reaches the bin. "Come on it might be expensive." He grabs the present and card still sat at the top. "Steven I'm serious!" I jump as him tackling him to the floor as both things fly out of his hands. "Get off me you hippo!"

"He's right Ellie if you don't want it I'll have it." Belly smiles grabbing both off the floor. I can't believe this was happening to me! I leave Steven on the floor as I stand up about to swipe it from belly, but it was too late. "Oh it's for Conrad." She shows everyone the card labelled 'Connie.'

"Did you steal something from Conrad. Stalker!" Steven shouts as I whack his chest. "No really it's nothing." I go to grab it from belly but she swiftly passes it to Conrad. Conrad holds them in his hand looking up to me.

"Is it from you Ells?" Susanna asks as I look back at Conrad. I never signed the card. "No it's not it was just in my junk draws, I didn't even see the card." I lie as I sit back down with the others. "Then you won't mind me opening it then?" Conrad snaps at me as I shrug looking away from him. "Yeah open it connie, let's see who it's from." Susanna adds.

My mouth became dry and my cheek flushed from embarrassment. He rips the wrapping paper revealing the small wind up box.

"Oh wow I haven't seen one of them for you years, I didn't even know they still made them." My mother says, they didn't, it was expensive to get made especially with that song.
