****CODY'S POV

Dad: Cody follow me to my office now...

He said that with a serious scary face on..

Me: yes sir

I stood up and followed him to the office. He sat on his chair and poured himself a glass of whiskey.

Him: as you know that my days are being counted now..i want you to take over the businesses..

Me: wait..but I'm not the eldest son..

Him: but you're the wisest (smirking), you see your brothers are good at what they do and i trust them but they're not close to me like you are, it's just that now that they have wives and children they're always with them and it's like they don't care about the businesses anymore and you are the only focused one..

Me: but i think I'll have a lot of pressure...

Him: it's not like I'm cutting your brothers off, they'll be here to help you always..

Me: but i think we have to talk with them first especially Hunter because he is the firstborn and he is the rightful heir..

Him:(clears throat) okay then call them then.

I called them to the office then they came. Hunter is the firstborn followed by Codah. Yahh i know you're wondering why we don't have Mexican names. We were born in America and our mom died when she gave birth to me. I really wish that i heard her voice, i wish she was there to see me grow up, i wish she was there to tell me what to to get the perfect girl, maybe that's why I don't even have one because i don't know anything on how to treat a girl.

My dad could've taught me all of that but it's just that he's been too busy for us so it's just like i was raised by Hunter and Codah.

Anyways Dad told them everything and they were not really happy about it but they agreed.

Me: please excuse me for a second...

I left the office angry. I was angry because all my dad cares about is his business and what he says has to happen. I love him but i just hate him when it comes to these businesses. How can leave me with these dangerous businesses that he has...wow.
