Davina's pov

I reach the door only for it to fly open and my uncle storms in tossing his jacket on the coat rack by the door. "Uncle Damon what's wrong?" I ask and he says nothing as he heads to the kitchen and pulls out a bottle of bourbon from a cupboard.

He grabs a glass and pops the lid off the bottle before pouring some bourbon into his glass "uncle what happened? Is my dad okay?" I ask and he just sighs.

"He's fine" he replies "okay that's good so where is he?" I ask curiously "still with Klaus. He insists on staying with him for the time being to avoid pissing him off and also because he thinks he can find a way to get Klaus off his back as apparently there might be someone we can use against him" he explains making me nod.

"Oh I see, is his humanity still off?" I asl "I would yes and no since I witnessed him brutally murder Katherine because she provoked him and insulted you and your mother, oh and apparently she was the reason witches found you and your mother....." he says making me cut him off right away.

"Wait what?" I ask with my fists clenched at my sides "oh yeah it turns out Katherine was at fault for witches finding and tearing you and your mother apart from each other and your father. She led them right to you out of spite and jealousy" he explains making my blood boil.

"That bitch! " I hiss "I know well your father killed her and his humanity briefly shown but he's still not fully got his humanity back but it is slowly coming back which is good" he explains "okay, do you know when he will come back?" I ask making him shrug.

"He will return when he's done doing what he needs to do, when that will be I don't know but he insisted I return to you to keep you and Dove safe since Klaus has eyes and ears around and your father wants you both safe" he replies "you know I can keep my daughter and myself safe right?" I question "can you defend yourself?" he asks "I have powers uncle, I can make someone's insides melt or make someone's brain explode with a snap of my fingers and a single whisper. I could even curse someone to go blind if I wanted too" I respond making him pause.

"Interesting" he muses before clearing his throat "still you need to be protected. You are my niece and your daughter is my grand-niece, you're family and your safety is mine and your fathers priority" he says as he walks over to me and places a hand on my shoulder.

"I thought Elena's safety was your priority?" I ponder "it is but your safety and Dove's is just as much of a priority if not more than Elena's" he replies making me nod "why do I smell a guy's scent on you" he says suddenly making me stiffen.

"I accidently used your aftershave instead of my perfume" I respond quickly and he narrows his eyes "why do you smell like sex then?" he questions making my eyes widen.

"I'm a teenager, I participate in shelf-love when I need a release" I respond making him grimace "I did not need to know that inform" he says making me shrug "well you asked a question and I just answered honestly" I respond hoping he buys it. He sighs "you're off hook for now" he says eyeing me "I got my eye on you kid" he warns making me roll my eyes.

"Yeah, yeah" I respond waving him off as I walk away "if you're having sex I hope you're using protection. You don't need to be having any more babies right now!" he calls after me and I flip him the bird as I head up the stairs.

Meanwhile....In Chicago with Klaus and Rebekah

Klaus and Rebekah were gathered in the container with the coffins that contained members of their family. Klaus had sent Stefan on an errand alone with a test to see if he would return and if he didn't Klaus would kill his brother, his daughter was off limits since Kol warned him from doing anything which baffled him because he didn't understand why his brother would care about what happened to some girl and her child.
