The next day...late evening
Davina's pov
"Slow down, Caroline" I say with a giggle as she drags me into the school. Tonight is senior prank night and Caroline is making me tag along as I wanted to stay in and just be with my daughter but she persuaded me to come out and have fun since it was senior prank night and it will be the only one I have. She got her mom to babysit Dove for me since my uncle is currently in a bad mood.
"Where is everyone?" I ask as me and Caroline walk down the hallway "History classroom" she replies still pulling me along with her until we reach the history classroom and she pushes the door open.
Elena, Bonnie and Matt look our way and Elena instantly scowls "really Caroline? You just had to bring her?" she asks gesturing towards me "Elena it's okay for her to join in. She's a senior too" Bonnie pipes up "don't you have any other plans? Like say be with your daughter? I mean she probably needs you yet here you are" she states making me bite my tongue.
"Yes, here I am. Also it is okay for me to be away from my daughter for a few hours. I do it when I come to school and I do it when I go to work. Just because I'm mother doesn't mean I can't have fun and Caroline thought it would be a good idea for me to join you lot but I see I'm not allowed to have fun in your eyes" I retort making her huff.
"Do you even know how to pull a prank?" she asks folding her arms over her chest and I snort at her "what am I, 5? Of course I know how to pull a prank. I'm not stupid" I say making her snort "clearly you are if you got yourself knocked up at 16" she retorts making my blood boil and I punch her in the face making her head turn.
She looks at me, holding a hand to her cheek with shock in her eyes as I glare at her. "Says the girl who's own mother got knocked up as a teenager. Yeah, that's right I know shit Elena however you don't know fuck all about me so keep your thoughts to yourself!" I snap glaring down at her, clenching my fists and I see the lights flicker from the corner of my eyes.
"Davina" Caroline says touching my shoulder but I shrug her off "I'm sorry Care, you came to bring me out to have fun with you guys but that's not going to happen with her. I don't need to tolerate her bullshit so I'm out. Have fun, pulling pranks!" I exclaim throwing my hands up before storming out of the room.
No one's pov
The second Davina left the room, Caroline turned and glared at her friend "you had no right saying that to her" she says and Elena frowned "Caroline, she punched me" Elena interjected "yeah, because you insulted her! Like, seriously? What is your problem? Every time you see Davina, you start shit and upset her? She's done nothing to you!" Caroline snapped "she doesn't belong here. Bonnie tell her, what you told me" Elena stated glancing at Bonnie who bit her lip.
"The witches spoke to me" Bonnie stated making Caroline frown "the dead witches? From the old, run down mansion?" she asked making Bonnie nod. "They said Davina shouldn't exist. Her very existence goes against everything the balance stands for, she upsets it. She's dangerous and an abomination" Bonnie explained and Caroline just laughed in disbelief making the two frown.
"What's so funny?" Elena asked confused "what's funny is, you are unbelievable and you Bonnie actually listen to the opinion of dead bitter witches. Of course they're gonna say those things because they hate anyone that isn't a witch and no offense Bonnie but witches are the most hypocritical and judgmental assholes known to man. Davina has been nothing but kind and patient since the moment she got here. She's not dangerous, all she wants is to live peacefully and safely with her daughter!" Caroline ranted she was very disappointed at Bonnie for judging Davina just because of what some dead witches said.
"You always defend her! What is she? Like your new best friend?" Elena asked none of the three girls noticed Matt still standing in the room, just watching them argue. "You know what? Yeah, she is and guess what? She's a way better one than you Elena!" Caroline snapped pointing at Elena who gasped. "I guess I may also need to reconsider my friendship with you too" she stated looking at Bonnie who frowned. "But Caroline..." she protested "no don't but me Bonnie. I love you but I can't stand you when you act judgmental and hypocritical and I won't involve myself with you when you are only going to enable Elena's poor treatment of Davina. I'm disappointed in you because I know you're better than this!" Caroline ranted making Bonnie look down.
Suddenly the door opened and Tyler walked in "hey ,what's going on here? I thought we were going to set mouse traps" he said "oh we were but Caroline ruined the mood" Elena retorted making Caroline snort "no, your attitude ruined the mood. I'm going to find my best friend and do my pranks elsewhere!" she snapped before storming out the room.
Tyler just looked confused "don't ask man" Matt said shaking his head making him nod. "I need to go to the bathroom. I'll be right back" Elena stated before walking out and turning the corner only to bump into someone and she gasped, her eyes widening as she saw who it was.
"Klaus" she uttered her body frozen in shock "hello love, you're supposed to be dead" Klaus growled as he gripped her arms before yanking her down the hallway "now, I know why everything was going wrong with my hybrids! You're still breathing!" he snapped as he reached the gym, kicking the doors open and tossing her inside.
Elena scrambled to her feet and froze as she saw Stefan "Stefan?" she whispered before running to him but he just stepped away making her frown. "Oh, he doesn't look too pleased to see you. I thought he would be overjoyed" Klaus spoke looking between the two with furrowed eyebrows.
"I don't love her anymore" Stefan replied in a monotone making Elena's heart shatter while Klaus grinned "oh really? Then why did you keep it secret that she was still alive?" he questioned with his hands behind his back.
"I didn't think I was obliged to inform you" Stefan replied without any expression. He wasn't worried about him finding or doing anything Elena. It was his daughter and granddaughter he was worried about, he knew Klaus could hurt them if he wanted too.
Klaus just narrowed his eyes at him before turning to the gym doors as they opened and two unknown vampires entered. "You two stay here with our friends and make sure they don't do anything or go anywhere. If they try and leave, beat the girl and drive a stake through his stomach" he ordered gesturing to Elena and Stefan.
Stefan went to kill one of the vampires but Klaus grabbed him by the throat "stay seated" he compelled making Stefan sit down. Klaus smirked before walking out the gym.

Bonnie is judging Davina because of what dead witches told her. Caroline is reconsidering her friendship with Elena and Bonnie. Klaus is back and here to cause trouble. What will happen next?
