Later that night....

No one's pov

Davina lay in bed muttering as she tossed and turned her head repeatedly in her sleep, her forehead drenched in sweat and her hands were clenching her duvet tightly as her back arched. The walls began to slightly rattle as the wind whistled and howled outside and the lights in the room kept flickering on and off.

In Davina's mind.....

Davina was walking along a dark hallway that was cold to the bone for some reason, she felt her own heart thumping away in her chest and every step she took she heard as they echoed through the hallway. She could hear the sounds of water dripping from somewhere along the hallway, it was only small and light water dripping from the sounds of it.

She suddenly stopped as she heard a squeak and looked around but couldn't quite make out her surroundings as the hallway was pitch black so she just kept on going, she felt like if she stopped for too long, something would happen and she didn't know what but she surely didn't want to find out.

She had this feeling in her chest, a feeling like she was there for a reason, she felt this pull inside her and she was just simply following the pull which grew stronger with every step she took.

"Mama" Dove's voice spoke out of nowhere making her stop and gasp "Dove, baby where are you?" she asked frightened at the thought of her baby girl being somewhere here, lost and alone. "Mama" Dove said again but her voice sounded faded, like it was far away "Dove" Davina called out snapping her head left and right trying to find out where her daughter was calling her from.

Davina suddenly stopped as she came to a big steal door that was padlock making her frown "that's odd" she mumbled as she walked up to the door and gently placed her hand upon it only to gasp due to how cold it was, the door was so cold that it had a thin layer of ice coating it like it was  a sleeve or another barrier to the door.

"Davina" a voice whispered which sounded like it came from behind the door "hello?" she called out as she placed her hand upon the door once more, this time ignoring the chilliness of the door and she closed her eyes "Davina" the voice whispered again so Davina starting chanting a little spell under her breath before opening her eyes and stepping back as she looked at the door which she made to look see through so she could see into the room.

The thin layer of ice remained but the steal of the door disappeared allowing her to glimpse into the room although it was rather blurry due to the layer of ice but Davina could just about make out a single coffin inside that was wrapped in golden chains, there was no window in the room so it appeared dark but one single torch candle light was lit which illuminated the room and Davina could see that the entire room was covered in frost which was strange.

Her eyes flickered to the coffin and she furrowed her eyebrows as she felt a strange pull in her stomach, she didn't feel scared or threatened when suddenly the coffin suddenly shook and a bang came from within it making her jump.

Davina suddenly snapped her head as she heard voices approaching and from the vibe she was getting from them, she knew they were witches "it doesn't look good Astrid, the spell is weakening" one witch spoke her voice echoed off the walls "nonsense, that spell is still going strong" the Astrid woman replied "it's not Astrid and you should listen to me. If that spell is fading then it means bad things will happen, if that spell weakens and breaks she will wake and you know she will kill us all for what we did to her and her child" the other witch said and Astrid just scoffed "you're overreacting, look I know the spell. It's one we have always used and it always works, it's never failed before" Astrid stated "but this is different, this woman is powerful and potentially dangerous, you know that and I think she is too powerful for the spell to keep her down any longer which is why it's weakening" the witch said and Astrid huffed, clearly annoyed at this witch, she didn't believe what she was saying.
