Chapter 51

The next day...

No one's pov

Kol and Davina were in their hotel room, having a very passionate morning make out session in bed when Dove suddenly woke. "I'll get her" Kol stated as he pulled away, kissing Davina on the cheek before getting out of bed in only his boxers.

He pulled on a pair of sweat pants before walking over to the crib "good morning" he cooed as he peered over the crib and Dove just smiled and kicked her legs as he reached in and picked her up. He rested her on his hip as he made his way back to the bed.

He set Dove down next to Davina "hi baby" Davina cooed kissing her daughter on the forehead as Kol walked round the bed and laid down as Dove sat on Davina's stomach and she tickled her tummy making her giggle "who's a ticklish baby?" Davina cooed as she continued tickling her making her shriek and squirm until she rolled off her and laid between her and Kol.

Davina turned to lie on her side "so are you going to tell me how things went with those witches you went to see?" she asked propping her arm up and leaning her head against her hand. Kol sighed as he rolled onto his side, smiling at Dove who flashed a smile at him before she started playing with her hands.

"So I didn't exactly learn of a location but I did learn some information about the coven" he started making Davina nod "so this Orobas coven isn't as new as you think, they're just an old coven under the guise of a new name" he explained making her frown.

"Have you ever heard of the Bell witch coven?" Kol questioned making Davina nod "I have, two of my ancestors had history with them. They gave their protection to vampires and werewolves against the Bell witch coven because they kept targeting them. They tried to help other witches but they refused their help, insisted they didn't need any help defending themselves or fighting the Bell witch coven so they just left witches to it" Davina explained making Kol nod.

"The Bell witch coven were wiped out 300 years ago at least that's what everyone believed but apparently according to Lisa and Carrie there were a few members of the coven who managed to slip away before the destruction of the coven and they went on living their lives, staying in the shadows and keeping a low profile. They went extremely quiet until they reemerged a few decades ago under a new name, the Orobas coven" Kol explained as he tickled Dove's feet making her giggle and kick his hand away making him chuckle.

"Lisa and Carrie said they are very dangerous, they want to eradicate vampires and werewolves, they want to rule over the witches. They also said they're devil worshippers and draw power from the devil, whether that's true or not I don't know" Kol stated making Davina sigh.

"It honestly wouldn't surprise me if they are. They are evil to the core and they are typically stronger than other witches I've encountered but not as powerful as a sorcerer or sorceress. They certainly aren't as powerful as me or my mother, the only reason they have my mother is because they took her by surprise and have her under some sleeping spell, they couldn't keep her hostage if she wasn't because she would just bust their ass" Davina ranted as she stroked Dove's hair.

"If your mother is powerful, they would need to have a very strong sleeping spell on her" Kol stated making Davina nod "they would have to put a number of spells on her to keep her down but it's only a matter of time before she breaks through those spells which is what is happening now. My mother is weakening those spells and she is waking up, I can feel it" Davina stated as Dove rolled onto her stomach and used her hands and knees to push herself up and stand up. 

She started jumping on the bed making Kol and Davina laugh "what are you doing, baby?" Davina asked as she tickled her leg making her shriek and continue jumping before she dropped herself down on her back, kicking her legs up in the air "you're so silly" Davina cooed tickling her belly making her giggle.
