I reach the suite of the new hotel, me, Davina and Dove arrived at last night. This hotel is a bit more fancy compared to the previous two, we've been too. I wanted to take Davina and Dove to a more secure and nicer hotel.
This suite is huge with a massive bed and a cot for Dove, a big lounging area with a massive tv. It has a big bathroom suite with a walk in shower and it has a balcony with a hot tub which I hope we will get to use for a romantic night.
I'm planning to take her and Dove to dinner at the hotel restaurant tonight as a treat to spoil her and also prove how sorry I am for not being truthful to her although I think she has forgiven me for that because she hasn't been pulling away from me as much and she's started letting me touch her a little more and she cuddles up to me at night and she lets me kiss her a bit more though she still won't let me kiss her on the lips though I aim to change that.
Right now, I'm preparing to leave to meet with two witches I know. I'm meeting with them to seek information about the Orobas coven. Davina's still hesitant about it as she doesn't trust witches which I get but I wouldn't meet with a witch if I thought they'd be a threat to her.
I enter the suite and find her sat on the floor playing with Dove who is attempting to do a puzzle. "Where does it go?" she asks in a soft tone as she watches Dove decide where to put the current puzzle piece in her hand "here!" she exclaims looking up at her mother as she slots the puzzle piece into place.
"Yes, that's right. Clever girl!" Davina praises clapping her hands making Dove's face light up and she lifts her hands clapping enthusiastically, looking very proud of herself.
"Hey" I announce making Davina look up and Dove looks up too, grabbing her puzzle board and holding it up "look!" she exclaims shoving it in my direction making me chuckle as I make my way over. "Woah, have you done that puzzle all by yourself?" I ask and she nods, her smile reaching her eyes "you clever girl" I praise making her smile and she kicks her legs excitedly making Davina giggle.
"What's up?" Davina asks as she runs a hand through Dove's hair "I'm leaving to meet now to meet with some witches" I say making her purse her lips together before slowly nodding. "Okay, I have something for you" she states getting up on her feet and Dove looks at her before looking back at her puzzle board before tipping upside down making all the pieces scatter on the floor.
Davina walks over to her bag and pulls something out "I know you said you trust these witches you're meeting and while I don't doubt you. I just wanted to make a precaution in case anything goes wrong" she explains as she walks over to me.
"I want you to be safe, I don't want you getting yourself into trouble because of me so I made this" she states as she holds up a necklace with a pendant attached to it.

"I spelled it myself, it will keep you safe from harm. If anyone tries to hurt you, it will repel that person and it will also give you a warning if a threat is near" she explains as she leans up and puts it over my head before muttering a small spell making the necklace shorten so it doesn't hang loosely. "I also spelled it so that it won't come off" she explains as she steps back.
I feel touched at her concern, nobody's ever been concerned about me when it comes to my safety and wellbeing. "Darling, I'll be fine, I'm an original" I say placing my hands on her hips and pulling her closer "that doesn't mean you can't be hurt, Kol. You might be an original but you can still be harmed in different ways and I just want to ensure you're safe at all times and that nothing will stand in the way of you coming back to me" she states in an almost whisper at the end but I heard her.
I smile as I gently cup her chin making her look up and she closes her eyes as I plant a kiss on her forehead before running my hand down the side of her face, gently caressing her cheek "I'll always come back to you, nothing will stop me" I assure her looking into her eyes.
"Be safe, be careful" she says looking into my eyes "I will" I say caressing her cheek before reluctantly pulling away from her. I grab my jacket and look at her "I won't be gone long" I say before leaving the suite.

I know the chapter was short but the next one will be longer. Anyway, what did you think of it? Dove is adorable as ever. Kol prepared to leave to meet with witches on answers about the Orobas coven. Davina gave him a protection pendant to keep him safe from harm. Kol was touched at her care and concern. They shared a pretty emotional moment. Kol assured her he will always come back to her. What will happen next?
