I woke up two mornings later to a shrill cry of pure terror. I leaped out of bed and bolted to the door. When I opened it, I didn't see Mitch and accidentally ran into him. I staggered backward and almost fell, but I felt a firm hand around my waist. Opening my eyes, I saw that Mitch had a hold of me, keeping me on my feet. He smiled warmly at me and I returned his smile.

Mitch: I won't let you fall.

Me: Thanks, Mitch.

He helped me stand on my feet then I remembered the cry of terror that I woke up to. Kirstin!

Me: Mitch, is Kirstie okay?

He released me and we both bolted to Kirstin's room. When we burst into the room, she was trembling in absolute terror. Mitch turned and rushed to get Scott, while I rushed forward, flinging myself into her arms.

Me: Kirstin, what's the matter?

Kirstin didn't say anything and pulled me into her. I could feel her body trembling, but it was completely different than before. It was like she was in pain and scared at the same time. I felt her arms around my body and somehow, she settled down. Kirstin ran her hand over my hair before she spoke softly.

Kirstin: I love you, Kailyn.

Me: I love you too, Kirstin. Did you have a nightmare?

Kirstin: Yeah, but thanks to you; I'm better.

Me: I'm glad that I could be here for you.

Scott rushed into the room and when he saw that Kirstin had recovered, he smiled. Even though he was smiling, his blue eyes were filled with confusion.

Scott: How in this world did that happen so quickly?

Kirstin smiled at me and rubbed my back. I could see that her brown eyes were filled with admiration and love.

Kirstin: Kailyn.

He nodded and came to sit by us. His blue eyes were sparkling with love and affection as well as protection.

Scott: You doing okay, Kirstie?

Kirstin: Yes, Scott! Now Kailyn and I want to have a girl-to-girl talk.

He got up and laughed before calmly walking out of the room. Kirstin's brown eyes, which I loved so much, were sparkling with amusement and joy. She changed positions and sat cross-legged on the bed and I sat across from her.

Kirstin: How was your date last night?

Me: Romantic! We took a carriage ride and it was so amazing!

Kirstin: What did you two do for supper?

Me: He had pizza from Mellow Mushroom and had it delivered to a tourist location towards where the cabin was. He set up a blanket and had candles around it. It was a Pentatonix blanket that he had personalized.

Kirstin: Awwwww! He's so sweet!

I smiled as we chatted about my recent date before we both started getting hungry. Arms linked, we walked to the dining room.

Kirstin: Remember when we played Telestrations back in January?

Me: Yeah. That was funny.

Kirstin: Especially when your one word went from bolt to tornado.

Me: That was the funny part.

When I looked at who was sitting at the dining room table, I was surprised. Jacob was sitting there with a vase of silk and chocolate flowers. That wasn't all, though. There was a box beside the vase that was wrapped neatly. I ran and wrapped my arms around his neck after I ran to him.

Me: Jake!

Then I remembered that it was Scott's birthday! A year till the wedding! Then I wondered if the box was for Scott, but Jacob pushed it to me.

Jacob: That's for you, baby.

Me: Jacob!

Before I sat down, I rushed around to give Scott a hug. He held onto me for several heartbeats before releasing me.

Me: Happy Birthday, Scott.

Scott: Thank you, Kailyn.

I walked around to the table and sat down beside my fiance. He slid the box closer to me and I gingerly opened it. Inside was a PTX shirt that I had wanted forever, the Pentatonix Puzzle, another wrapped package, and a couple of other gifts. I took the package and carefully opened it to reveal every Pentatonix CD that I didn't have. PTX Vol. 1, 2, & 3 were three of them then Pentatonix Deluxe, which is made mostly up of originals. PTX Presents Classics Vol. 4 and PTX Presents Top Pop Vol. I was there then The Lucky Ones Deluxe plus their EP At Home. I smiled at them then I wondered where Kirstin was, but then she appeared and slid a small package into my hand. With delicate care, I unwrapped it to reveal her solo album L.O.V.E.

Me: Kirstin!

Kirstin: You're welcome!

I leaped to my feet and flung my arms around her in a hug of pure gratitude. She held me close while she was still laughing.

Me: Thank you so much, Kirstin and Jake.

Jacob: No problem, babe.
