Meanwhile, Scott and Mitch were talking casually. Well, at least trying to. They both were worried about Kirstin not being able to sleep with Kailyn. Scott's mind was troubled after he saw how tired his friend looked when she woke up this morning, and Mitch couldn't get over the way he had found her.

Scott: Mitch, I think Kirstin needs to start sleeping with Kailyn again, so she can be there in case of a nightmare or emergency. The fact that Kirstin was there that night saved Kailyn's life.

Mitch: I was thinking the same way, Scott.

Scott's blue eyes were unfocused with concern as his mind drifted to when Kirstin woke up this morning. She looked at her phone and saw a text message from someone she hated, someone who claimed to love her but didn't show it. Kirstin immediately took it to Scott, who told her they would never find her and that he would protect her with everything he's got. Mitch noticed then he remembered seeing Kirstin upset and terrified.

Mitch: Scott, I want to know why Kirstie was so upset this morning.

Scott: Mark texted her demanding she gets home or else.

Mitch: He can't do that! We can't go home now. He'll be after her. And what does he mean by 'or else,' do you know?

Scott: Mitch, you're right. We can't risk her getting ripped from us by that idiot. She was terrified when she saw who it was. Honestly, I don't know if she will ever return to L.A. knowing he's waiting for her.

Mitch: I don't even want to think about what he means by 'or else.' I understand that he might be upset about her not being home, but he can't be mad that she has been injured and can't travel.

Scott: Mitch, you don't understand. He's almost killed her! Do you remember when she didn't come to that rehearsal because she was in so much pain? She didn't tell us that he was abusing her, but still.

Mitch: I do remember, Scott. When she did show up, her face was bruised, and her back looked like someone kicked her, probably that idiot

Scott shuddered as if he was remembering what his friend looked like when she came to the studio. She had pushed past her pain for the sake of her band. His fists clenched, and he sighed.

Scott: Mitch, I am just worried he might come after her. He has a way of finding her; remember last year?

Mitch: I don't want to remember. He just googled where we were performing next and came to take her back, only to torture her. Scott, do you think that he can find her even here?

Scott: He could if he feels like it. I know one thing, we are not letting her go back. Poor Kirstie, she's is terrified that he will kidnap her, but I promised her that I would protect her.

Mitch: We will protect her. Honestly, I am surprised that we were able to do all that we did in L.A. without any issues. Also, I don't think that it would be a great idea to tell Kailyn. We'll let Kirstin tell her when she decides to.

Scott: You're right, Mitch. This is going to make us do everything here but after that last time; I believe that security will be higher to prevent that.

Mitch opened his mouth to comment on what his friend had just said, but Scott wasn't paying attention to him. Scott's blue eyes had grown unfocused with uncertainty and fear.

Mitch: Scott, are you okay?

Scott glanced up at his friend, with tears in his blue eyes. Mitch sat there as he waited for his friend to speak.

Scott: Mitch, Kailyn looked tired this morning. I don't know if she's been sleeping well at night. She told me that she slept okay last night, but now I don't think that she did.
