My attention was drawn to music and voices as I stepped off of the skyliner. Curious, I started to walk towards it. Then I saw Victoria approaching a small cluster of seven people. With a jolt, I reconized Kailyn with Pentatonix and her best friend. Oh no. Kailyn and Kirstin were behind Scott and Mitch and Malone seemed to be also protecting them. My fists clenched then I walked straight for them, glaring at Vic as I stalked towards her. She smirked and that made me even more furious. I don't care what happened to me at this point, I just want them to leave my baby sister out of this. If I got killed, but it protected Kailyn I don't care. At this point, all I wanted was for my baby sister to be protected from Zac and Vic, nothing else. I would die happy at least because my baby sister would be safe at last. I was even more furious as I saw her reach into her pocket. That stopped me dead in my tracks. Don't move, Kailyn. Stay where you are. She'll strike. There was no way that I could make it in time to save her even if I ran. My heart was racing and I was already out of breath. Taking a deep breath, I dashed forward towards my baby sister. She had no idea that I was here. I skidded to a halt, when Kailyn and Kirstin made a run for the monorail station. That's when the world seemed to stop. Everything around me froze and I couldn't see anything. The only thing in my line of vision was my little sister, lying motionless with a dart lodged deep in her shoulder. I crashed to the ground, weeping. There was no way that this happened. If only I had run faster, I could have saved her. My body shook with grief and guilt. Unable to stand there any longer and watch my baby sister dying in front of me; I stumbled to my feet and just bolted somewhere I had no idea where.
