When the tar disappeared into the ground, Chelsea's breathing was heavy. There was still so much energy inside her that she wanted to release, it was painful. She felt a large mass of energy move towards her, she looked over her shoulder and saw a large demon going to attack.
Sesshomaru took down another demon, there was one more left, it was approaching Chelsea lifting its arm to smash her. The demon lord went to dart at it, but saw Chelsea turn and look up at him. She didn't look fazed, he could feel her energy shift, stopping he prepared for her to send out a burst.
As the demon's fist started to come down, she gritted her teeth; changing her stance she put her hands up towards the oncoming fist, releasing the energy that tightened her back painfully. She tried to focus it at the demon.
As he watched her glow; there was a massive bubble that shot out from her, tensing up he waited, but the bubble stopped short of him and pulled back. Stopping the demons fist, he watched as the massive monster cried out in pain then fell, turning into dust as it melted down to the ground. His eyes widened as the monster blew away; looking at Chelsea, she hung her arms like she was tired.
She straightened up, then looked over at him, her breathing was still heavy. Though she wasn't pained by the extra energy her body made, she gave him a slight nod.
He walked carefully up to her.
She staggered towards him.
He saw tears rolling down her face, her eyes were pale. Making him more alert he darted up towards her, "Chelsea?"
Giving him another nod, "That's it?" She was breathless.
He nodded back.
"Thank god." She dropped, faceplanting it on the ground.
"Chelsea?" He looked down at her confused, she was doing so well, what happened? Bending down he rolled her over, she pushed weakly so she was now on her back. "What is it?"
"Eh." She moaned, "That was rough," Sniffing a little she covered her face with her arm. Her emotions were so mixed and broken apart, she had just touched a part of herself that she hadn't in a long time. It was painful, exhausting, emotionally draining, and scary. She turned this part of her off for this reason; the monsters, the emotion, the pain, her eyes were blinded. Chelsea's body was finally relaxed though; there was no tension, not a heavy ache in her back that made her feel like she was baring an over cumbering load.
Sesshomaru was looking down at her, he has more questions, but he felt it was best to let her rest a moment.
Chelsea's then sat up quickly and looked at the trees.
"What?" The young demon questioned.
"Rin," Trying to stand up quickly she started to run towards the trees, pulling her swords to her as she went.
The young demon darted into the trees.
Rin, Jaken, and Ah-Un were running as fast as they could away from the fight. The woods were so dark, but they didn't stop. They could hear so many cries and laughing around them, like they were in the middle of battle field.
Ah-Un stopped and let out a loud roar.
Jaken and Rin stopped as well.
Demons appeared in front of them dropping out of the trees, like mutilated monkeys. Their heads all twitched, as they came at them with a craze in their eye.
