It was late morning, Sesshomaru had gone off somewhere; leaving Rin, Ah-Un, Chelsea, and Jaken walking around searching for him.

"He has a bad habit of leaving us behind," Chelsea groaned; as she looked around, hoping to spot Sesshomaru.

Jaken scoffed, "Lord Sesshomaru can do as he pleases," He said, as he led them.

Chelsea looked at Rin, "But I don't understand why he just leaves, instead of taking us along."

"Because you would just get in the way!" He snapped back.

Rin smiled, "He is just concerned for our safety, I think."

"I like that answer." Chelsea smiled, "But I can defend myself, and what if something happens to him? And he doesn't come back?"

"What?" Jaken whipped around, "Our Lord, is the most powerful demon you'll meet in your life time! How dare you think he won't come back?"

Chelsea stopped and looked down, at the little green demon, "First of all YOUR Lord, not mine; no one rules over me." She waved her finger around as she spoke, "Second, no one is invincible; he will be defeated someday. And who knows, it could be me." She gave him a wink, then started walking again.

"WHHAAAAT?!?" The little demon screamed, and watched her walk by, "How dare you? I will tell Lord Sesshomaru and he will smite you down!" He screamed, "I won't let you kill my lord."

Rin quickly rode Ah-Un to catch up to Chelsea, "You don't want to kill Sesshomaru, do you?" Her voice was sad.

She reached a finger up to her lips, and looked at Rin out the corner of her eye. "Shh, I'm just teasing him."

Rin looked, back a Jaken; he looked furious and was still yelling and screaming, as if they were both still standing there. "Should we wait for him?"

"Naw, let him blow off some steam first," Chelsea then looked over her shoulder, seeing that Jaken wasn't fallowing, "Yeah, he'll catch up, he's a quick little guy."

"Alight," Rin looked ahead, but then Ah-Un then stopped and groaned. "What is it Ah-Un?"

Chelsea looked over, "What?"

"Ah-Un is nervous." Rin petted his neck, "It's alright."

"Does he like have a monster-demon detector?" She asked then took one of his heads, "Are you sure he's just not hungry?"

Ah-Un stepped back and growled, turning around against Rin tugging on the reins.

"Hey, what are you doing?" She asked franticly, tugging on the reins.

Chelsea ran up and grabbed the reins, "Wooh!" She yanked hard, digging her heels in the ground Ah-Un turned his body and started to pull; moaning and groaning as he did. "What's up with you?" She barked.

All of a sudden there was a crashing in the trees; Chelsea whipped around, looking in the direction of the crash.

Rin looked around Ah-Un, "What was that?"

"I don't know, but I think that is what Ah-Un is trying to walk away from." Chelsea quickly turned back and started walking the other way.

Whatever was heading toward them was quick, too quick to get away; the trees parted as a demon burst through them. Snarling and drooling as it came; it was like a hound, but it had no hair and blood red eyes.

"What the hell is that?" Chelsea yelped.

Rin turned Ah-Un, "A demon, come on!"

Chelsea jumped on Ah-Un, squeezing in behind Rin; with a swift kick Ah-Un was off, he ran back the other way. As they passed Jaken, Chelsea scooped him up by the collar, cutting him off.
