Venturing through the woods; Jaken, Chelsea, and Rin were looking for their lord Sesshomaru. The air was humid, as the hot sun shown above them. Who had gone off, leaving the group while Chelsea picked up the embarrassing pieces of their last encounter.
Chelsea stretched her arms up, "It is such a nice day." She smiled, her sleeves were pulled up being that it was actually warmer than usual.
"It is." Rin cheered as she stepped through the bushes.
"How can you guys be admiring this day?" Jaken wined, he put a hand to his stomach as it let out a loud growl. "I'm starving."
"Don't worry Jaken, we'll find something to eat." Rin said in an upbeat tone, "Huh?" A sound caught her ear. "Do you hear that?" She asked the group.
Chelsea stopped and listened, "I do." She smiled, "It sounds like running water."
"And where there's water there's fish!" Rin ran off ahead, "I'm gonna be the first one to catch a fish!"
"Hey no fair!" Chelsea called out, darting after her. "You got a head start!"
Jaken stamped after them, "Hey, wait you two!" He said as he pulled Ah-Un's reins.
They laughed as they approached the water, the sound of the river became louder and louder.
Chelsea passed Rin, "I'm gonna beat you!" She teased.
"No fair!" Rin tried to run faster, "Your legs are longer than mine!"
"I guess you'll have to beat me when your- ack!" Chelsea got caught on a branch by her scarf. "Ack!"
"What was that about waiting?" Rin ran past her, laughing as she was about to win.
"OK, now that isn't fair!" Chelsea fought the branch. "I'm stuck!"
Rin kept running and laughing.
Jaken ran after her, "Rin wait up."
"Jaken, help." Chelsea struggled.
Jaken stopped and looked at her, "Just take the damn thing off, and pull it out. It's not like it's a part of you." He grumped and darted after Rin again.
Chelsea stopped and watched him go; she narrowed her eyes at the imp. "I'm not doing that, just because you said it...and I didn't think about that." She grumbled and looked around then started to slip the scarf off.
Rin came out of the trees and stopped short, seeing a pack of wolves with wolf demons standing at the edge of the river she froze in fear.
The wolves growled at her, as they looked very hungry.
Jaken then tripped out of the bushes, "Rin." He huffed.
She quickly tucked herself away behind him, "Master Jaken." She whimpered.
He looked at the demons in front of them, remembering how wolves had killed Rin. "Hey, you wolves, get out of here this instant." He snapped at them.
The wolf demons looked taken aback, "What? How dare you talk to us like that, don't you know who we are?" One spat, "We are the henchmen of the young-wolf demon leader Koga!" One stood in a dramatic pose. "I am the shrewed Hakkaku."
The other stood next to him, standing in another ridiculous pose. "I'm the dimpled Ginta!"
"There do you remember us now?" They asked Jaken simultaneously.
The imp stood there for a moment, then shook his head. "No, I've never heard of you."
"What?" Ginta choked.
