Episode 68 - Flowers and Fish

The group walked through the evening into the next day; Chelsea and Rin had fallen asleep on Ah-Un, while Jaken and Sesshomaru walked. The sky was bright blue, with a warm feel and a breeze that smelt fresh and clean.

Jaken looked up at Chelsea and Rin, still asleep. "How can you two sleep so much?" He groaned.

Sesshomaru looked at the girls; Chelsea had her arms around Rin, her face was calm but there was now a smile that didn't leave her face. There was a piece of him that was with her, she obviously wanted more than he could offer. Though, after he took care of Naraku, he would then be pleased to give her what she wants.

Chelsea's eyes opened slowly, "Jaken, why you talk to loud?" She moaned.

"Why do you sleep all day?" He replied.

She carefully rolled off of Ah-Un, so she could walk. Fixing her pants, she looked down at him, "Well, I'm not something that can just go for days without sleep." She yawned and stretched out, "I get cranky."

"You will need to train yourself to put up with lack of sleep," Jaken grumped. "Or you will just be left behind in a village somewhere."

"Why?" Chelsea asked annoyed, "You ain't payin' me nothing to stay awake?" Her arms were folded tightly across her chest as she walked, with her eyes half shut.

"Pay?" Jaken jumped, "Do you think I'm getting paid?" He pointed at himself, "I do what I do because I am loyal to Lord Sesshomaru!"

Chelsea scoffed, then looked at Sesshomaru, he was looking ahead so she wasn't sure if he was even paying attention. "Eh," She shrugged and started walking ahead, "I'll just suck his dick and we'll be even."

"Excuse me!?" Jaken shouted.

Chelsea turned to him quickly putting a finger to her lips, "Sh!" Her eyes moved up to Sesshomaru. "Rin is sleeping."

He was looking at her with wide eyes.

"I think that's a good exchange," She pointed out, "You all deal with my nonsense, I suck his dick." She let out a sassy shrug, "Win win." A mischievous grin appeared on her face as she looked at Sesshomaru.

He looked away, "You two need to focus, and stop talking such nonsense." His voice was flat.

Chelsea could feel his energy shake, "Fine," She puffed at them playfully. "How about when Rin wakes up,+- we stop and look for food?" She changed the topic.

Jaken nodded, "Finally, talking some sense," He looked around, "What do you think my lord?"

He continued to walk silently.

Chelsea watched him, "I'm taking that as a yes."

Jaken looked at her then back to his lord.

They walked for a short while longer, Rin had stirred awake as Ah-Un had to climb over some large roots.

"Good morning." She yawned.

Chelsea laughed, "Well, it's about noon," Her tone was teasing, "How about some lunch?"

Rin shot up. "Yeah, I'm hungry."

"Alright," Chelsea looked at Sesshomaru, "Is that ok?"

He looked at her, "We'll stop up here in this clearing." He motioned ahead of them.

Rin jumped off Ah-Un then darted forward, "What are we going to eat?!" She cheered.

"Man, I wish I could jump out of sleep like that," Chelsea chuckled, then answered Rin, "I was thinking fish, rice and veggies." She propositioned.
