Episode 38 - Why Are They After Me?

The hyena like demon glared at Sesshomaru in a standoff, he narrowed his eyes back at her. He wasn't going to give up Chelsea that easily, seeing that he just got her back. He could not believe how many directions she was being pulled, everyone seemed to want her.

I will not leave without my pry. The hyena barked.

"Then you have chosen death, by not following the Lord of this land." Sesshomaru stood strong, he knew that they were nothing more than pawns.

The hyena barked wildly at them; the ghoulish laugh echoed throughout the night air.

Rin backed into Chelsea's legs and hid, the laugh made her feel uneasy.

Jaken held his staff tight, "My Lord?" He looked up.

Sesshomaru reached around and took the hilt of his sword.

Once he touched it, the hounds came in all at once on top of them. Snapping and snarling, barking and yipping as they tried to grab hold of them.

Sesshomaru drew out his sword Tokijin, swing it hard, it let out its demonic energy. Sending the dogs back, killing some as they were struck by the wave.

Chelsea mowed down some of the dogs as they came in, the way they leaped at them took her off guard. Her barrier went down, so they just pushed in. This was becoming to close of combat to use this staff, she needed the swords. They weren't that far away, she looked over at them, trying to figure out how she could get them when there were dogs between her and the swords.

Jaken stabbed his staff into the ground and sent out a wave of fire at the dogs, like before it did nothing to faze them.

Ah-Un shook off its muzzle and shot out sparks of demon energy from its mouths.

Sesshomaru leapt up and to an area with more room, he swung his sword as he went though the air. Slaying more hounds, he landed and continued to slash more demons.

Chelsea felt him leave, she looked over her shoulder, as Ah-Un also went into the air. Attacking from above. Why? She could see the dogs surrounding her, it was so much.

Rin screamed as one of the dogs snapped at her, pushing herself more under Chelsea. "Lord Sesshomaru!"

Jaken swung his staff and smashed the dog in the face, only for it to lunge at him, sending molten saliva at him. He yelped as his sleeve caught fire.

Chelsea swung the staff behind her striking the hound, she swung a leg around moving Rin out of the way. "Stay close." She said holding her ground, she had to get her swords. Swinging the naginata down, she moved in the path towards her swords.

Rin stayed by Chelsea's legs, moving with her as she stepped around, staying on the side furthest away from the hounds. Taking another step back she looked down as she almost tripped, it was the hilt of Chelsea's sword. "Chelsea!" She looked up.

Quickly reacting, she swung the naginata, but there wasn't a hound there, it was her swords. "Huh?" She swore she hand further to go then small two steps, but she had no time to think, there was a dog at her heels. Changing her grip on the staff she heaved it letting it land in a group of dogs, taking one down. The others snarled and snapped at the weapon.

Turning back to grab her swords, she barely bent down, and the hilts were in her hands. She couldn't believe it; keeping on track, she tried not to think too much on it, as she whipped around and sliced two hounds, they were all jumping at her snapping their jaws as they came. She would have to throw one back or punch on in the face, burning her knuckles and arms.
