Chelsea walked through the snow, it was only getting worse. She kept focused, trying to track down the demon energy thatshe felt, it had to be that. that she felt, it had to be that. It was too early in the year for snow just yet, she had at least a few more weeks. It was so cold though, she couldn't believe how fast this came in.
She kept looking around, Sesshomaru was nowhere, she couldn't even feel his energy. "Where did you go?" Chelsea mumbled walking through the snow, she was glad she left her scarf with Rin to keep her warm. I should've put something more on her though. She thought, but continued on.
There was a ghostly laugh filling the snow-clouded air.
Chelsea started jogging, wanting to get this taken care of. "Hey!" She barked, as she ran out of the trees.
She saw a woman dancing on a stone next to a now frozen waterfall, she was reaching her hands up towards the sky laughing at the falling snow. The woman didn't look like someone who would make snow though; her hair was sharp, like icicles, while her clothes also looked like plates of ice.
"Hey!" Chelsea called up to her, "You need to chill out on the snow, you're a bit early!"
The woman stopped and looked down at her, "Huh?" She narrowed her eyes angrily. "How dare you tell me to stop?"
"Seriously, you can't be doing this!" Chelsea shouted back, hoping to maybe reason with her. "People need to prep for winter and you can't be freezing crops and ponds, before they are ready!"
The woman leapt off the rock, landing in front of Chelsea she looked her up and down. "Well, I don't plan on stopping, this is wonderful. I wait for it every year, and it just happened to come early this year!" She reached up, "Isn't it beautiful?"
Chelsea looked up, then looked around. The area was beautiful, the fresh blanket of glittering snow was always her favorite thing to look at on that first day of snow. "Yes, I do agree, but I'm not thinking about myself right now." She pointed behind her, "I have a small companion that I don't have prepared for this cold, I need time." Taking a breath, she could feel her lungs start to freeze up, "You need to stop."
A smirk grew on the ice woman's face, "Why would I do that?" She chuckled, "You obviously can't handle it, so it's not like you are gonna stand a chance."
Shaking her head, Chelsea let out a laugh, "Honey, I was born in a snowbank. This is just a reminder of home." She reached down and picked up a handful of snow with her bare hands, her fingers started to turn pink from the cold. "Now, I'm really trying to be nice. So, stop this snow, or I'm gonna whitewash you." She glared at the witch.
The witch looked at her confused, then scowled. "No."
Chelsea pushed the snow in her hands together into a tight ball, "Ok." Quickly she threw it hard at the ice witch's face.
The unexpected ball smashed hard in her face, causing her to yelp and turn.
Drawing her swords Chelsea darted at her, ready to just make this quick.
The woman was faster though, she put her hands together and an icy blade formed in her hands, holding Chelsea's attack back. "Why would you want all this beautiful snow to go away, if you came from it, don't you love it?"
Pushing back against the ice, Chelsea growled, "I care more about others, that's why." She shoved her back hard, causing the witch to stagger back, "And right now, I have little companions that are freezing. So, turn it off!" She threw one of her swords.
The witched ducked, dodging the sword. "Well, that's too bad." She ducked again as the sword returned to Chelsea. "But sadly, even if I wanted to stop the snow, I can't."
