Zombie Outbreak

Chapter 3

Ja'khi POV (Chapter3)

      Every time I see a human,they look so familiar.... But before I can ask them who they are, they are lying motionless in front of me with blood and bite marks all over them. But I just can't stop myself, and every time I attack someone, I feel a heavy amount of guilt. But the person I felt the most guilt with is probably the second girl I bit, she was saved by a boy, who looked very familiar. I already knew it was too late when he picked her up, I had already bitten her on her leg. Makes me wonder what happened to them.. I decided to walk around the school, I walked to the cafeteria to at least 20 zombies trying to get in. I simply knocked them down and went inside. I saw a lot, a guy and a girl watching something on a phone. The girl I bit was sleeping under one of the tables on a mat, one of the other girls was crying texting someone, and the last girl was trying to cook in the kitchen. I decided to go wash some of the blood of my face and hands. I was hungry, Not for human. But for something else, I didn't know what. I built up the courage to go ask the girl who was cooking. "Can I get some food please?"I mumbled. "Of course!" she said handing me a burnt piece of pizza . Until she turned around, she looked me up and down then took off running. I decided to get something to drink. That was when one of the people watching their phone spotted me. She quickly told the other person watching the phone. Then the zombie under the table saw me.

     Everyone in the room looked so familiar. I knew what would happen if I tried to talk to them so I just ran towards the exit. Before I could leave,the boy that was watching his phone grabbed me and stopped me from leaving."JAKHI WAIT!" The boy shouted. Ja'khi? That name sounds familiar... I carefully turned around to see everyone staring at me. So I struggled to get free until I managed to get out of his grip. I ran out of the door before I hurt any of them.
