Selah POV (Chapter 8)
It was pretty late and everyone was exhausted,so we all decided to go to bed a bit earlier so we could try and get out of the school to go look for food in the morning. I got my mat and went under the table to go to sleep.
I woke the next morning to Ethan and Ja'khi cuddling, Dakota still sleeping, Nevaeh texting Greg, Marleen still sleeping, and Summer was making everyone breakfast. When everyone smelt the aroma of the food they all jolted awake. "What are you making?" Marleen yawned."I'm making bacon and pancakes!" Everyone grabbed a plate and began to eat the food. But when Dakota and Ja'khi tried to eat the food they spat it out. "Did y'all not like the food?" Summer asks "It tastes odd, my body is automatically making me throw up the food." Dakota said in a low tone. "Same here." Ja'khi agrees. "Uhm well what do you guys want to eat?"" Maybe some raw meat or something? ""ight sure ig" Summer went back and came back with some raw chicken, and put it on some plates for Dakota and Ja'khi. They were able to eat it. After everyone was done eating we packed our bags and decided to go and try to make it to the front office to see if there were any survivors. We all asked Jakhi to go and knock the monsters down so we can make it the office with no problem. When we got there we all decided tf o break the vending machines in the copy room. Then we decided to go look in Ms. Bean's office . When we got there we saw Greg sitting in Ms. Bean's chair.
Greg's POV
I was hiding in Mrs.Beans office because I didn't want to risk getting bitten by the zombies. I knew I had to stay alive for Nevaeh. That was when I heard the office door slam open and I heard several footsteps. I hear Neveah's voice call out. "Is anyone here?" I quickly got up and looked to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. It was her, Vaeh. As soon as she saw me she ran toward me to see if I was okay. "We have to go check all the classrooms to see if anyone is alive." We asked Jakhi to push the zombies down since Dakota wasn't strong enough to push them down. We made a Run for it down the hallway to the art classroom since it was the first classroom in the hallway. When we walked in the classroom we saw a perfectly good walls so I pinned Nevaeh to a wall and we made out while the others looked around the classroom.
