Ja'khis POV
they all were surrounding the cafeteria table, I heard Summer say that we were out of food. "GUYS what if Dakota and Ja'khi go?" Marleen said, everyone looked at me and Dakota "Well I guess we can, Do you want to Ja'khi?" Dakota asked. Everyone stared at me, I felt anxious and I didn't know what to say, "YES" I blurted out. "Okay good!, So what the plan?" Greg asked, they thought for a little but they said that we are going to run out the door and run to the playground to attract all the zombies outside away from the 200 building. "Maybe we can do it tomorrow?" I asked "Sure I guess",
The next morning I was kinda nervous, And sat in the boys bathroom for about 20 minutes and then I finally walked out to see everyone walking around. "Are you guys ready?" Selah asked while looking at me and Dakota "Yeah." Me and Dakota say in sync. "Alright guys, all you have to do is drive the zombies away from the Cafeteria so that we can go get food." Marleen says. "Meet us at the playground we go to during the shooter drills." Nevaeh adds.
And with that me and Dakota open the doors and go out of the cafeteria. Around 30 zombies are visible outside. Dakota and me have a human scent from being around the others for so long, this should make the zombies follow us. It did. Zombies were running at us so we had to run fast, Dakota went into the big kid building while I went into the little kids area. 15 zombies were chasing us each. I ran into the nearest classroom to get the zombies off my trail. The room I went into looked empty but there was a human scent in the room. I look around for the human, I doubt they could hurt me because I was in the children building. I'd almost looked everywhere under the table, in the bathroom, under the desks. The only place I hadn't checked was the office. I slowly walk towards the office, the scent began to get stronger the closer I got to the office.
I look in the office to see a small girl. She looks familiar...I notice she has tears going down her face she had her hair up but you could see she's been running..she had so many scars on her face.. I walk closer to her and carefully pick her up. "This is a bad time to find a survivor." I think to myself. I walk out of the office with the girl in my arms. I look around the room to see anything I could use to get me and the girl out unharmed. I see a large window that leads to the woods. "Perfect.." I think to myself. I kick down the window and it shatters. I jump out of the window and walk towards the woods. I suddenly stop when I see a corpse lying on the ground.
